mine is technically today i guess

years were measured differently there
and then in paradisa i dont think we actually physically aged?
so im not certain how to calculate all of that

you still mentally aged, right? i'd count that :)
just do what vampires and other immortals do: calculate your physical age as one thing, and then your mental age as another thing.

it works for them in TV, and i guess the fleet since we've got some here.

[Right as promised, Shawn arrives in the Wonderduck kitchen 20 minutes later, with his sleeves metaphorically rolled up and... well, not much else. He's not enough of a baker to know what they need.

He gives Jade a grin as he approaches,] Hey! Happy birthday again.

Thanks! [ she's beaming back at him as he arrives, seeming pretty actively chipper. she hadn't planned on cake, but - well, it's a pretty nice surprise. she already has most of what they'll need laid out, and she's in the process of braiding her hair to keep it out of the way. ] This is gonna be pretty interesting. There aren't a whole lot of fresh things- just powdered stuff, mostly. I have nooooo idea how well powdered egg is gonna work in a cake, but... worth a shot, right?

Worst case scenario, we'll have memories to last us a lifetime. [He's beaming as he inspects everything. Like a little thing could slow this Hunter down!]

I know some guys're working on a garden in the Iskaulit, but it's gonna be a while before we have anything remotely close to what we had at home.

No idea. [He shrugs. Out of everyone here, Shawn's the least likely to understand how things work in alternate dimensions - heck, he doesn't understand magic, much less time travel.] But the alternative's too depressing to think about.

I'd like to believe that we remember, even if it's not obvious. Maybe we end up doing things back home because uh... subconsciously, I remember how much you like to bake. Or you remember how much I like old black and white film.

Because even if we forget this place, we can't forget each other that easy.
