Experiments! Last time it was me seeing if I could isolate the gravity generator's effect to only some of the ship. The other time I was trying to see if I could get our freezer to grow icicles. The time before that I just wanted to know what would happen if you loop energy cycle of the flux capacitor in on itself. Surprise: it melts things. I can't recommend it.

But it's okay, fixing it is always way easier than breaking it, actually.
