[Milla has decided to take a stab at it: literally. She talked to a local who explained that it is possible to fish with a spear if she really wants to and so she has taken up a spear, positioning herself over the ice and is stabbing occasionally into the water.]

Oooh, just you wait! This will be the best fish stew ever!


B) [Shopping!]

[It seems that Milla is still very new on how everything around here works. Take for example her attempt at bartering, using the spear from earlier.]

Look, just one spice rack. That's worth this very fine, well-crafted spear! [That isn't hers but whatever. Details.] Oh and some meat? Maybe some eggs. At least some noodles and a spice rack.


C) [Pets!]

[And in case you thought she was just grumpy all the time, fear not. There is a stray fox sniffing around and Milla is only too eager to try to get its attention.]

Hey there! I bet you're really hungry, you poor thing. If you follow me, I'll give you super yummy treats.

[and hey you know, at first, she's doing pretty well with that fox! things are looking good! it's coming closer, getting brave, nose twitching eagerly at every scent... maybe she'll manage to claim a new furry friend by the end of the day after all.

...but then, something unexplained suddenly spooks the hell out of it. just a shiver in the air, and the fox whirls around to flee!

and somewhere behind her, a man just happens to chuckle a little bit. totally innocently, of course. there's no way he could have had anything to do with it.]

[No her fox!! Milla stands, reaching out for the fox even as it runs.]

Wait! Was it something I said? [Except, no, she heard that chuckle and turns around. She doesn't care who mister spooky is; he just ruined her chances of getting a cute pet. Milla puts her hands on her hips.]

Hey! It's not nice to scare the animals!

[but yeah, he's still fighting a chuckle over it, so... he might not seem like the most trustworthy person in the world.]

[someone else has been trying her hand at taming foxes, with some success. She watches from a distance for a while, amused at Milla's chatter, before she approaches.]

I knew that! [But it's hard to be mad with a cute animal around, so she shakes her head.] But I always thought animals must get lonely if you don't talk to them. Wouldn't you be lonely?
