[There's a pause there. Honestly, giving anyone the snowman story was the last thing he wanted to do. And even if he once got along well with Lea...Axel...whoever he was, this rubs him the wrong way. He can't put his finger, but it reminds him of home...and not in a good way]

...I like seafood, but not octopus.

[Sorry Kaneis, Axel definitely isn't Lea, and he's got a ways to go before he'll ever get there. Bear with him--he's got the potential to not be an asshole, he just hasn't had much incentive up til now.

There's a beat of silence, and then Axel barks a sharp laugh. That was not the answer he was expecting.]

Thanks...I guess. [But yep. He figured that was an answer he was not expecting- which is why exactly he gave it. He's still really not sure what to make of this new development, he'll have to talk about it to Riku probably. He stares at Axel's back and the little tongue of fire. Wow.
