The old switcheroo

[another week has already gone by... and the generic little chime is back, pinging over every network station and personal communicator in the fleet. someone's familiar and charming voice begins to speak!]
Hel-lo, passengers! This is legendary interplanetary commentator Beau, filling in for Diamond again. Her vacation is going swimmingly, and she should be returning to us soon for your regular updates!
While she's been gone, we've been hard at work with a little... reorganizing! You may have noticed a number of familiar faces missing from our ranks, but don't worry--they're being expertly replaced. Out with the old, in with the new, as they say. And many of these fine ships are getting pretty crowded, so make sure you take them time to meet your neighbors! We all want full, functioning ships for the journey ahead.
Don't forget to take advantage of the technological wonders of this star system while we're here! It's a great way to relax, and take your minds off of... recent upsetting events.
And as always, dear passengers, remember: the worlds are watching!
[as usual, the line stays open... even after he stops talking. feel free to respond over the network, or play out your first interactions on your new ships!]
