[ His first moments of waking up are pretty typical; groggy mumbling, hands and arms flapping around and a jerk that brings him upright then standing. Something... feels wrong. ]

Wha- Where am I?

[ His hands goes to his belt, only to grasp at air. It's alright, don't panic. It's not the first time he lost his lightsaber, not the first time he's gotten a concussion with the foggy space in his memory either. He checks his right arm, gripping it along the junction where durasteel meets flesh while he takes in his surroundings.

He scowls at the video feed that looks particularly turned on. But he doesn't care about that now. His arm is brought close to his face, and his own Jedi commlink beeps. ]

Obi-Wan? [ Nothing. ] Artoo, come in. [ More nothing. ] This is Anakin Skywalker, requesting emergency-- [ An odd electrical sound and click later, he sighs. ]

Great. I better not have to ask Obi-Wan to pick me up.

[ The same arm reaches out towards the ship's communicator and it flies to into his fist. Now, the feed points away from him and through his point of view as he scans the Hospitality deck. ]

What is ... this ship? [ The communicator shuffles. ] Where is this transmitting to?

[ He very nearly yelled, but years of training under his Master has taught him to use his inside voice. It doesn't stop his inside voice from coming out rushed and garbled. ]

Sunrider? Vima Sunrider? I saw you in the Great Holocron! [ And from this side of the screen, not much different than her older counter part. Which is... ]

This is weird.

[She laughs, kind of sheepish. She probably won't get used to this reaction even if a hundred Jedi from the future get kidnapped here.]

The one and only, at least as far as I knew before Atroma got me. Trust me, it's pretty weird having Jedi who won't be born for another four millenia looking at me like that.

[ The fact that she's here makes his warinss of this place immediately increase by tenfold. There are archives of Jedi being able to see through time with the Force but to bring someone from it- This place is not as simple as it looks. ]

As weird as having someone who's been gone for four millennia.

[ What's tact. ]

I can't imagine what this place can do if they some how managed to get a hold of you.

Exactly that weird.

[The smile fades, though, at his evident concern. The whole thing is pretty nuts, that's for sure.]

I know someone who's had experience with beings like Atroma--apparently, omnipotent beings with the power to reach through space-time really do think of us as pieces in a toybox.

I just find it hard to believe that "omnipotent" beings that have that power would take us out of our own space and time to put us in a ... [ He makes a disgruntled noise and a vague hand gesture ] A holodrama, of all things.

It's a waste of power.

I had a hard time buying it too, but apparently it's more common than you think.

Jedi can get pretty dramatic, I suppose.

[ He laughs, thinking about the many ways that Obi-Wan has dramatically taken off his brown robe ]

I suppose we could be. Running straight into trouble is what we do, isn't it. Most Jedi would make a pretty good holodrama... But here, the way they limit us - well, it just seems boring.

It's kind of a habit: always run towards the thing the bad feeling is coming from.

At least we can still feel the Force out here. [It's a field that binds all life in their home Galaxy, and it seems like it would exist anywhere else in the universe because it's just intrinsic to life ~~ysalimari haven't been invented yet~~ but she's met enough people now who've never encountered anything like it.] But I haven't gotten used to not having my lightsaber yet.

Well. We were trained to run towards it. That's where people need the most help.

[ He perks up; so, he isn't the only one who doesn't have theirs here. ]

I woke up and mine was gone. Any idea if they have it locked up on the ship or if it was even brought here with us?

If they're here, I think they would keep them on the Marsiva. That ship is big and has a lot more areas than just the 'arrival lounge'.

Alright, so we look there.

You've been here a while, what do you think of this place? Anything we should know?

Honestly? I think it's ridiculous. Being kidnapped just to broadcast our lives to a bunch of couch potatoes sounds pretty weird, but I've been assured that omnipotent beings can be that frivolous.

It's gotten downright creepy, sometimes. Last month we all started wandering around inside each other's heads at night. I thought just getting chucked into fake space battles for ratings was bad, but this is something else.

Wait, what?

Did I hear that right? You started wandering around inside other people's heads?

Oh yeah, you did. Somehow we would end up wandering inside each other's psyches after we went to bed, watching memories like they were holos.

Oh, that's great!

Is this frequent? Do they at least warn you about it?

It's only happened once that I've ever heard about--they said they needed to do repairs on our ships and stuck us all on the Marsiva. No announcement that we would be heading to memory theater, though.

[ He is blessed with many years of being with more dignified Jedi but a dignified Jedi he is not. He barely keeps his voice down. ]

Did you- Memory theater?

[huh YOU ARE REALLY FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS, DUDE.]

It's the best way I can think to describe it. We did have some measure of control, kind of.

I don't blame you for being a little wigged out at the prospect. War memories?

[ HE IS SO FREAKED OUT ]

It's not just war. We don't lead easy lives, after all.

How much control did you have over this?

[YEAH. and uh. she kind of feels bad that isn't going to be reassuring but she's also fairly curious.]

...Some. The memories were connected to an object, or maybe a door. But since we didn't really know what they were at first--Well, people saw things without knowing what it was.

[she'll just leave out that she herself actively tried to get into someone's memory.]

I don't like that.

[ Which is obvious. ]

My memories aren't... suitable for many- anyone to watch.

[More than... just the sense of "it's private," then.]

Nobody does. [Sympathetic, though.] I'm... hoping that it won't happen again, but if it does, in the same way... you can try to at least keep things 'out of reach.'

What do you mean? How?

Well, in mine, the memories were connected to objects. Like a lightsaber crystal or a holocron. So you could probably try to gather them up, or hide them away, if it was like that.

If it was like that, hiding them away seems like a bad idea. People will wonder what you're doing hiding away those things.
