[ Obi-Wan is no stranger to waking up to unknown locations, but this seemed odd . . . even for him. He gropes for his lightsaber . . . which is gone, obviously. He huffs, before straightening himself and brushing his hair back. Communications . . . communications . . . ah, there it is.

A video feed. Somewhat archaic, but it'll do. He doubts anyone from the Republic will be nearby, but perhaps the locals will offer some aid. Obi-Wan clears his throat before speaking. It's time for his other skill set to come in use. ]

Greetings. My name is General Kenobi. To whom do I have the pleasure of addressing? And I don't suppose there is someone willing to answer my questions? Because I have a great deal many of them.

You should be assigned to a ship soon. Then we can talk in person.

Anakin is on the Paisley, I believe. . . . As a pilot.

[ You can tell how thrilled Obi-Wan is about that. ]

Which ship are you on?

The Starstruck. Also as a pilot.

It's not so bad. The other day we had a race.

With these ships?

[ He'd be surprised if they managed to hit light speed. ]

[Ahsoka shrugs.]

They don't go much faster than a snail, but that's part of the challenge.

I'll never understand the thrill of a race, I'm afraid.

[ Because he hates flying. ] So, who won?

Funny you should ask. It's still in debate.

I'll let you know after I thrash Anakin in the next round. I've been adding some modifications to my ship.

And I don't doubt he'll be doing the same.

[ He shakes his head fondly. Some things never change. ]

It's a way to keep busy.

[And a way to covertly buy parts for her ship that aren't strictly speed related. She just hopes the Atroma aren't savvy enough to guess what she's doing.]

I don't suppose there are other ways for people not fond of flying?

Well... I'm teaching a class here on meditation. I know, I know. Don't laugh.

[Ahsoka likes meditating about as much as Anakin does. Which is to say, not at all.]

But a few people expressed interest in learning. Perhaps you could take over?

Oh, no. I can't take over your class. That would be rude.

[ Not to mention hilarious. Ahsoka is a good teacher, but meditation is something neither she or Anakin ever achieved . . . well. ]

Nope. Not rude at all! Everyone would totally understand.

Perhaps, but I don't have the rapport like you share with the people here. I'm afraid you will have to be the Master now.

[ Comedy. Gold. Will happen. ]

[Ahsoka narrows her eyes.]

You just want to watch and laugh, don't you.

Perhaps. But perhaps I want to see how far you've come. Who knows? Maybe you'll beat Anakin's record.

[ Yes. Pretty much yes. ]

Oh? What... is Anakin's record? Out of professional curiosity, of course.

I believe he managed . . . five minutes? The last time I checked.

I think you, like Anakin, have a way of proving me wrong time and time again. And that's what any teacher would want.
