[ Obi-Wan is no stranger to waking up to unknown locations, but this seemed odd . . . even for him. He gropes for his lightsaber . . . which is gone, obviously. He huffs, before straightening himself and brushing his hair back. Communications . . . communications . . . ah, there it is.

A video feed. Somewhat archaic, but it'll do. He doubts anyone from the Republic will be nearby, but perhaps the locals will offer some aid. Obi-Wan clears his throat before speaking. It's time for his other skill set to come in use. ]

Greetings. My name is General Kenobi. To whom do I have the pleasure of addressing? And I don't suppose there is someone willing to answer my questions? Because I have a great deal many of them.

Well, Ahsoka is really Anakin's, but we take on plenty of missions together.

[ Picking them though, is not something he did. ] I can't say I chose them personally.

So she's more like your grand-padawan. I like it.

It . . . was my Master's dying wish. That I train Anakin, help him realize his place as a Jedi.

[ He hadn't agreed with it before. They argued about it. One of his last few conversations with Qui-Gon, mired by doubt. ]

[She counts it up in her head--it's easier for her to think of the months as numbers than by their names.]

About... seven months by their calendar.

[ Even for Jedi. He can't imagine what that must feel like. ]

Don't get me wrong, I don't like that Atroma is kidnapping even more Jedi, but it is nice to have other people from home.

[ He hums lightly. ]

Especially . . . other Jedi, am I right?

Yeah... got it in one. Looks like future Jedi are still pretty perceptive.

But Jedi have always been a community of sorts.

We'll have to set up a meditation room on one of our ships so we can all hang out.

You . . . like to meditate?

[ Compared to Ahsoka and Anakin, Obi-Wan has had better luck pulling teeth. ]

[That makes her laugh.]
