This is Ghost-1, calling in. Team - sound off.

[... if they're here. Kanan is showing a rare amount of discretion by saying nothing else. His observations from other new arrivals has given him the intel he needs - it's a holodrama with secret recording devices hidden everywhere. It wasn't your run of the mill Imperial gig. So for now, he was going to avoid drawing attention to himself.

In the meantime, he's on the Marsiva exploring. Rather than stand gaping out the windows at space, he's trying to get a sense of the size of the ship he's on. Unfortunately it's not always easy going in a straight line among twisting and turning hallways and trying to hold numbers in his head is not easy. It would be a shame if he lost his count.]

[ Except, no Ghost, no Chopper, no freedom. ]

This network appears to be limited to this fleet of ships, and I haven't heard from them on it. My regular comm link is down. For now, I have to assume they're back - where we left them.

These comms aren't like any I've seen before. [... and certainly not Imperial. Whoever this organization was, they were working well out of traditional Republic or Imperial space.] And I don't remember ever hearing about anyone called the Atroma. You?

No. I think this is something else entirely. [ Hera likes to think she would be able to tell if this was some kind of Imperial trick - this is just so far out of the realm of what she would've considered possible, but then so was what happened on Gorse. It wouldn't be the first time the Empire had surprised her. But there are people here who don't even seem to know what the Empire is. ]

I've been told we might be in a different galaxy altogether. Strange as that sounds - it might be true.

I thought extra-galactic travel was supposed to be impossible.

[And if it was, he would have expected it to... actually be a lot less normal than all this.]

It should be.

[ And yet, and yet. ]

Kanan, there are things about this place that I can't explain. People who shouldn't be here.

... I think I might know what you mean. I think it would be better if we could talk in private, though. Are you on the... [A pause as he looks for the name of the ship as he's seen it a few times plastered on the walls.] Marsiva?

Yeah. Yeah, in private. If there even is such a thing here.

[ She doesn't necessarily trust that they're not under constant surveillance, but at least getting off this network would probably be a good thing. ]

I'm aboard - dropped by the galley for a bite.

I'll be by soon.

[And true to his word in some five minutes or so he'll have made his way back to the galley. Although most places would often host an assortment of aliens across the galaxy, Hera stuck out like a sore thumb. It was just as well as he slid in across from her. His smile was warm, though with a touch of raw nerves behind it.]

I hope you picked up enough for the both of us.

[ Her own smile matches his in affection, anyway, and she slides a tray of what she's pretty sure is protein paste across to him. That seems to be all there is on offer here.

But she's a little tense, too, in her neck and her shoulders, and she has a pressing question to ask right off the bat: ]

What's the last thing you remember before showing up here?

[Now that's a loaded question. He dips a finger into the protein paste and studies it with a wary eye.]

We were back on Lothal. I'd been spending some time with Ezra after he'd heard about his parents. [A beat.] That's what you remember, right?

[ She lets out a breath she wasn't even aware she was holding, and nods. ]

I was going to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet, while you were on Lothal.

I just - I had to ask, because. [ She frowns down at her own food for a moment, with a certain amount of consternation. ]

Ahsoka is here, but she's - younger. She didn't recognize me. She claims she's fighting in the Clone Wars.

Ahsoka? [Wow. Kanan takes a moment to stick the paste in his mouth, pauses long enough to cringe at the taste, but makes no comment on it.] Obi-Wan Kenobi is here as well. He said the same thing.

[He doesn't say it, but he doesn't need to say it to Hera of all people. He didn't recognize me. Somehow he wanted to be remembered, but he was relieved that he wasn't.]

[ She nods, still looking worried. ]

I spoke to him, too. It was like talking to a ghost. And that's not all. Senator Organa's daughter is here, too, of all people. I think there are people from the future here, not just the past.

[ And she still feels infinitely bad for having spilled as much to Kenobi as she did - even though he asked. What if she was wrong to do so? What if him knowing will somehow - mess things up?

Not that things could get much worse than they already are, but still. ]

I think I'm willing to entertain the idea that we're in a different galaxy, at the very least.

[Bail's daughter? He didn't really know the senator all that well, but his kid couldn't be any older than Ezra. A little kid was the last thing they needed to worry about.

Kanan leaned back in his seat and pinched the bridge of his nose between finger and thumb.]

Maybe. But you've only talked to them on the comm link, right?

[ Bail's daughter all grown up, apparently. She can't explain it, either. And she knows what he's thinking, but she has to shake her head a little. ]

I met Ahsoka in person. The others could be tricks, I suppose, but it's definitely her.

So that rules out my fake holo recordings theory. [Well, that was a long shot anyway. That seemed too much like the real Obi-Wan to be a fake anyway.] So to recap, we're stuck in some other galaxy, we're short our crew, our ship, and our only allies are time disjointed Jedi. Did I leave anything out?

I think that about covers it.

[ Then she waves her hand vaguely at the area around them. ]

Also, we're very likely watched at all times - whether for this reality holodrama or for some other reason we don't know about. [ She's inclined to think it's the latter, if for no other reason than the former is just so absurd. ]

Sort of makes the whole discretion thing pointless.

[And talks of escaping difficult. If they're going to accomplish anything, they'll need to work out some kind of code for communication. Of course, sharing said code won't be all that easy either...]

Probably. Unless we have very good reason to think otherwise, I'm going to assume our captors are recording our every word.

[ She's already going over possibilities, frankly. It might have to be handwritten notes on paper, of all things. And gestures. If he were a Twi'lek it might be easier, but he doesn't have lekku, and thus lacks that shared language. ]

But I'm fairly convinced there's no connection to the Empire, here. That's... something. [ What sort of advantage that gives them she hasn't determined yet, aside from the fact that she doesn't think they're about to be summarily executed. ]

I'm not sure whether to find that comforting or not. Instead of one enemy, we have two. [Kanan glances up to where he imagines a camera must be hidden and gives a friendly yet sarcastic wave.] Even better, we don't have any weapons.

[ Hera, instead of sarcasm, opts for resignation, crossing her arms over her chest with a sigh. ]

You too, huh? Everything?

[ And by that of course, she means his lightsaber, which when broken down doesn't look much like a weapon. He's clearly not eager to out himself as a Jedi here, which is fine, and she won't be outing him, but some weapon - any weapon - would be helpful. ]

Everything. This right here? [He lifts up the plastic fork meant for the protein paste.] This is as dangerous as we get right now.

[ That might be a bit of an exaggeration. They can both be dangerous even without weapons, Kanan especially, but Hera just nods. ]

Well, we've been in worse situations. And with fewer potential allies.

[ She's not jumping to conspire with the others from their galaxy just yet, though thus far they've given her no reason to believe they're lying. Four Jedi, a Rebel Alliance general and Bail Organa's daughter - assuming they are who they say they are - is nothing to turn her nose up at. But Hera is nothing if not patient, and time will tell if they'll end up being useful. ]

You can't really mean we're going to try and team up with all of them, can you? I mean - yes, they're Jedi. [The guardians of the galaxy. He's talked them up so much in the past to Ezra in the past that now that he's confronted with nearly a half dozen of them, he doesn't really know what to do with them all.]

I can't just go back to them.

I'm not asking you to. [ She gives him a sympathetic look. It must be more than a little overwhelming, having so much of his past effectively dumped on his shoulders like this. ] I did say potential, for one thing. I only know a couple of them by sight and I'm not going to just trust them all completely out of the gate, here. I have to talk to them some more, decide if they'll be useful.

[ She picks at the bland food in front of her. ] And what you tell them about yourself is up to you, you know that.

[ She kept that particular secret for six years, she's not about to out him to anyone now. ]
