[Yang will likely bump into Adelina, as she herself wanders around the Bishop. Still getting the lay of the ship. She'll wave a friendly greeting when they run into each other.]

Hey! I'm guessing you're also new?

[bloodbiter]

[She waves in return, a more formal gesture followed by a curtsy.]

That is right. Have you also just arrived in this ship?

[Whoa, Yang was quite expecting the formal curtsy there. She doesn't quite know how to respond at first, unsure if she's supposed to give one in return or not. This seemed more like Weiss' kind of greeting. Utlimately, she gives a little, more rigid curtsy of her own, trying to act nonchalant about it.]

Uh, yeah. Probably just got here a little before you did. I'm Yang.

[bloodbiter]

My name is Adelina. It's a pleasure to meet you.

How much of the ship have you been able to familiarize yourself with?

[onlyburnhotter]

Uh, not too much yet. I haven't quite found the bunks yet, but I did check out the cargo bay, the kitchen, and the bridge already.

[bloodbiter]

I see... What was the cargo bay like?

[since she has no idea what a cargo bay is.]

[onlyburnhotter]

Big, spacious... I don't know. Basically what you'd imagine a "cargo bay" on a spaceship to look like, I guess. I mean, there's the shuttles. Those are pretty cool. I'd love to learn how to fly one of them.

[bloodbiter]

Ah... I'm afraid I haven't heard of a cargo bay or a spaceship prior to arriving to this place, so I'm not sure what most people would expect.

[a short pause, and then she speaks in an apologetic tone]

And if I may ask, what is a shuttle?

[onlyburnhotter]

Huh, well, I guess we're kind of similar then. I mean, I've never been on a space ship before either. Still though, do they not have planes where you are from?

[Yang considers her question.]

Maybe it'd be better if I just showed you?

[She makes a gesture for her shipmate to follow her.]

[bloodbiter]

I have never heard of a plane.

[so, that's a no. but she nods eagerly at yang's offer.]

If you're willing, I would appreciate that. Thank you.

[she follows after her.]

[Yang leads her fellow newly-minted crew member to the ship's cargo hold. Pointing toward the large shuttle craft that takes up a large part of the bay's space, she turns to her companion.]

That's our shuttle. It's capable of flying through space like this ship, though not as fast or as far or for as long. It's basically used for short range travel between the ships, and I guess the planets too.
