Oh, hello. I think I've done this thing right.

[A youngish red head was looking around herself, the interior of the ship clear in the background. She's in some hallways somewhere.]

Well, this is a bit sad to say but, can anyone direct me to the labs? Sorry, I should introduce myself first. Lily Evans here, I guess I'm your new lab support personnel. Blimey if I know what all that entails but, I was always a fair hand at potions.

Right, well then if anyone could be so kind, pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

They are, and using it to belittle others. It's why I want to do something important after school, maybe be a teacher myself or work for the ministry.

What's the ministry?

[gifted_witch]

Ministry of Magic? It creates and enforces the laws for the magical community. They make sure that people aren't taken advantage of and that species are being looked after and industry is watched for safety, all sorts of things really.

Does it work?

Well, not flawlessly no. But it does a lot. Mum says it's probably for the best that muggles, those are non magical folks, don't know about magic. That's part of what they do. And they make sure that witches and wizards aren't interfering with muggles or doing them harm.

I just want to help, guess I'll figure out how when the time comes. [Yeah totally not mentioning the building turmoil or missing people or strange events that area already happening back home for her. Nope.],'small>

Well I don't think it'll take long to get the lay of the land here.

It's really pretty easy. I spend most of my time in my room and in the kitchen, I guess. Some in the common areas.

What do you do? I like to read, and listen to music, sing sometimes.

I don't really know. Talk to Stiles? I've inventoried the weapons like a hundred times.

[Well someone sounded a little in need of distraction.]

What did you used to do, back home?

Hunt, mostly. In the woods.

I've never been, unless you count hunting toadstools.

But they really din't take much of a chase.

I imagine not.

I hunt with a bow and arrow.

[gifted_witch]

The Centaurs do that! They are wicked shots, all I've ever managed was to blacken my arm. [She rubbed her inner forearm where she had bruised it with the bow string on release in her younger years.] Afraid I'm rubbish at it.

Maybe I can teach you next time we hit land?

Would you? I would really like that, and maybe I could teach you something, or make you things. Not sure if you have any magic in you but I am a wiz with charms and potions!

I would be very, very surprised if I had magic. But I'd like to see what you can do.

[Lily, always ready to show friends things at school, took her wand out of her back pocket. Since there were no restrictions here she could be safe enough to preform a charm or spell.]

Well there are some basics, like lumos [The tip of her wand illuminated like a bright flashlight]

Like I said, that's just basic stuff. You learn that and levitation and such year one. There is so much you can do! Fetching things is a handy trick!
