[ Much of Ino's time on the Three Twins lately is spent working on adding things to the lab, now that they have one. While yes, technically, it is Nanako's domain ... she can still be found in there on occasion, mixing herbs into a paste to make healing salve and painkillers.

Every once in awhile, though, she'll come back from the Iskaulit with something new and pretty to display on the kitchen table. It's not where Ino lives if there's not a flower arrangement somewhere!

Feel free to run into her anywhere, or knock on the Captain's door if you need something. ]

[See Misty has this gift. We don't know if it's really magic or not, but somehow she just always seems to appear out of nowhere. And here she is, in the lab of the Three Twins, leaning over Ino's work table, watching her with great curiosity.]

[ Ino can sense people's presences pretty easily, but that does take her a little by surprise. She manages not to be too spooked, though -- just pausing in the middle of the mixing for a moment before looking up to see Misty. ]

[ This lady looks unfamiliar, so she's probably new ... but Ino isn't sure if she's new to the ship or just new to the Fleet. ]

[ it may be her domain, but nanako always welcomes the help. it's a little challenging to manage the lab all by herself and she's still getting the hang of things. the one thing she's really good at is keeping it clean and organized at least.

when ino's there mixing herbs, nanako is right next to her watching attentively and writing down notes in her journal. ]

Yep! We had a lot of -- well, similar plants growing in the greenhouse for the flower shop. And it was a part of my apprenticeship as a healer, to learn different kinds of medicines and antidotes that could be used for common ailments and poisons.

[and Nel is perhaps a little behind on the times when it comes to keeping track of crewmates, so seeing a new room show up is really quite surprising.

this means that their newest recruit will have a little half-dressed elven dude pausing in his tracks as he wanders past the door--backtracking to peer inside. he's wearing pretty much nothing but a gigantic t-shirt (there are probably some sort of underthings on under there) and looking a little on the sleepy side, despite the shock.]

[ So far, he's generally been left to his own devices, so the sound at the doorway grinds on his nerves. Nothing quite like blind rage, but on the level of 'moderately annoyed'. Which honestly isn't much. He operates on a neutral level of 'may be pissed off at any given moment'.

He doesn't bat an eye at the length of this shirt or whether or not that junk is covered. He grew up in a monastery, shit happened. ]

[ She walks in on him fiddling with the dispenser, and ... hmm. He seems to be acting like he lives here, so she's going to guess that he's probably the new guy. She'll approach with a smile, anyways. ]

You know, the stuff that comes out of there could hardly be called "tea".

[ When the door opens, he looks over his paper (where did he even get one of those?) to see who's decided to bother him now. For the most part, the ship is generally quiet and peaceful. Or it has been for the past week.

What he doesn't expect is a child. He'd just assumed that children weren't entertainment quality. Apparently he's wrong once more. His eyebrow raises as he peers at her over his reading glasses. ]

[In the Pilot's Station she may take the ship for a whirl. Nothing too fancy, just moving around, up and down, left and right, to check if she can really fly this goddamn thing. Confident that she can, she'll start messing around with the dashboard.] There any music on this thing?

[In the Cargo Hold she'll be spending a lot of time on that treadmill. Like a lot a lot. Come say hi?]

[In the Lab, she'll be taking stock of supplies, and occasionally laughing at the lab's contents.]

[And, finally, at night, she'll find the sofa and settle down to sleep.]
