[Koala can be found... playing the pinball machine still. In fact, she can be passed by many times throughout a long span of hours, toiling away at the machine to get a high score. In fact, she can even be found when most of the crew is asleep — or maybe you're awoken curiosity by the faint noise of it down the way. Her eyes are owlish and focused and she's sweating just a little, but she's working hard on what Mr. Greed had told her —

Ah. She didn't get in the top 10, again.

She slides to sit in front of it, swaying a little in her exhaustion.]

I still... haven't... So close...

[For anyone curious if she's gotten any better at her odd cleaning quirk — she hasn't changed much, but there is less fear in the way she presents herself. She's still hard-wired and programmed to try and do everyone's bidding, much to many of their disapprovals. But she seems less terrified of being thrown out of the ship into distant space.

She can be found in the cargo area, with — is that a clothes line? Where did she even get that? And are those your clothes hanging on it? She appears to be putting them up to dry! She's got quite the pleasant expression on her face though, because despite being too messed up to realize this isn't her sole purpose on the ship, she actually does really like doing the laundry. That nice clean smell, and clothes that warm in the sun... Granted they have no sun here, but they'll dry regardless. And they'll be nice and soft and comfortable.]

[And then of course, you can find her —

pacing.

Walking around, biting her nail, looking for more tasks to do. She's restless, as he had been with her short time on the Sun Pirates' vessel. It's hard for her to cope with... 'free time'. It's hard to figure out how to fulfill Obi-Wan's mission for her, to do 'fun' things. To be a young girl, and that is it. It's just so very hard, you guys.

She's not sure what do even do.

[ He was passing by until he spots her . . swaying . . . ]

[She sinks down in defeat rather dramatically.]

[She rubs her forehead, considering her options.]

I think he meant it as a goal than a task. Something to try, not to force yourself through.

[She sits cross-legged on the floor, considering her situation.]

[It's during this downtime that Greed catches her pacing frantically. Hey, since when did he tell her to do that? Then again, he had been monopolizing the pinball machine for the last hour and the ship was absurdly clean.

He places a single finger on the top of her head to get her to stop.]

Ya know kid, there's a lot better ways to get your exercise then spinning around in place.

[She stops rather smoothly under Greed's finger, not moving an inch, only glancing up at him.]

I'm not spinning, Mr. Greed, sir. I'm looking for things to do!

[Things to do = working all the live long day, but whatever.]

Perhaps I should check all the appliance once again and make sure they're still functional...!

[avaricious]

Uh huh. [Well that's just ridiculous. Things to do?]

Well, I know exactly what you mean. I'm getting sick of pinball. So what if I was to take you on a little field trip?

That's right, shortstack. I was thinking of having a look at the Iskaulit. It's some bigger ship - bigger and roomier than this bucket of bolts.

[This place was just getting too crowded for his tastes.

Also he was pretty sure they might conspire to prevent him re-docking on the ship somehow. Better to have someone tiny and cute along for the ride if the crew decides to mutiny.]

[Nami will make her presence known with a steadying hand on Koala's shoulder. Please don't fall over, kid.

[She looks up at Nami, dazed.]

[She gives Koala's shoulder a gentle squeeze.] But you need a break. Would you mind showing me where the kitchen is?

[She already knows, but it's easier to pull Koala away, she thinks, if she just asks for help.]

[Despite the obvious need for a nap or three, she hops up to her feet, rejuvenated.]

Of course I can! Just this way. Would you like me to make you some — something nice to drink?

[Clearly, she likes having a task she can accomplish.]

Mmm, some other time maybe! I thought I'd make you a drink instead. I need a guinea pig to help me taste something new. You up for it?

A drink? [And Nami's offering to make it? She bites back the urge to tell her not to, that she could do it, surely! Instead she gives a hesitant nod.] I would like that. I'm very good at being a guinea pig!

[ han has been keeping tabs on koala and, to her credit, she's doing better. the pinball obsession is a bit much, though, and once she finally quits for the day, han gets up out of his chair with a sigh. ]
