[ she won't explain to him how grateful he ought to feel to have friends in the first place -- or how thrilled to have a means by which they might communicate. it isn't her place to scold him (or anyone, for that matter) and so she is very very careful to reply, in text, with only courteous things. ]

Then I should not bother you any further. I apologize. [ but... ] Mayhaps you should hide your communicator somewhere far from your quarters.

[ she nearly offers to hide it for him, but decides that would be too familiar. too personal. ]

[ oh, zuko adores them. and he's endlessly grateful to have his friends, who are practically his family. but he's grumpy, and overtired, and allen and sasuke are both morons. ]

[ sansa seems easy to startle, and it's not his attention. ]

The bridge? [ seems a very public space to leave something that could be so private. that hadn't precisely been her intention. but it's his choice. ] Shouldn't it be somewhere more hidden? Somewhere secret?

[ she is (at least) aware that this much is publicly available. but it's the private conversations she worries about -- things that have been said, for example, between herself and her husband. things that should never be learned by others. she assumes zuko has those secrets, as well.

and as for friends--? well, perhaps it's been too long since she's had one she could trust. her friends in the vale didn't even know sansa. they knew alayne stone. ]
