sometime... after the 22, but before the next event
[While she always has been diligent with practicing her mok'bara every day, her crew may have noticed her sessions have been running longer as of late. It's relaxing and familiar, a connection to home. Should anyone wish to join her, she can be found early in the mornings in the cargo bay, near the exercise equipment, either meditating or kicking poor old Punchy the punching bag around.]
b. voice, private to Daneel
[This is, fortunately, not one of her late night calls after another nightmare or simply not being able to sleep. Those are coming less frequently, though they do still happen. Now, it's the middle of the day and her tone is warm, maybe even a little... eager?]
Daneel! Are you free this evening?
no subject
I certainly am. Did you need my assistance with something?

no subject
[This is unexpected.]
no subject
[It's a much better release of tension than simply punching things, she thinks.]
no subject
[Absolutely true. It's a happier reason for seeing her than he's had in a while.]
When were you thinking?

He's calling her Beverly and she is oh so very pleased about this.]
Thank you! I'm looking forward to to seeing you as well!
[When he arrives at the dance studio later that day, Beverly's already there, for once not wearing her Drift Fleet-issued jumpsuit, but instead, some of her new clothes she got from Ino, which includes a green off-the-shoulder tunic reminiscent of what she is used to wearing at home. The significance of this is perhaps lost on Daneel, since he wasn't there for the clothes-dumping episode. Nevertheless, it's clear that things are a lot more stable for her, emotionally speaking. Not... quite back to what she was before the calibrations, especially with the recently added stress of worrying about Azula, but so much better than the last few times he's seen her.]

Hello, Beverly.
[He gives her a friendly half-bow.]
I hope you're well.
no subject
Daneel.
[She smiles at his gesture and bows back.]
I am. [Or, at least, she's getting there.] I hope you are too.
no subject
[And he is. Things have been going... relatively well, all considered, and friendly company is pleasant."
What did you have in mind for today?

Re: sometime... after the 22, but before the next event
Huh?
[She could page Dr. Crusher, but first she'll try using the Force... but it's a little too fiddly.
So she'll just try hacking into it. She's never studied computer slicing but hey, there's a first time for everything, right?]
no subject
However, once she verifies that it is indeed her, Beverly's curiosity gets the best of her... so, with an amused look on her face, she waits to see what Vima does.]
no subject
and then she pays some attention to what else she's feeling and realizing: oh, hey. Beverly is here.]
Hey, Doc, what's with the seal?
no subject
[Her tone is light and joking - she just couldn’t let resist a little teasing. In this case, it’s also a sign of forgiveness for what happened in the calibrations. After all, Vima didn’t really hurt anything and she’s extremely fond of the young Jedi, nosiness and all.
After Beverly punches in the appropriate code, the door slides open, letting Vima in.]
Sorry, I meant to call you after Sokka installed the locks. I’m afraid you’re going to have to let me know when you’re coming for a visit from now on so I can let you in.
no subject
[Dr. Crusher's ship--and the inside of her head--is just the latest, after Ulic and the mining pods. She hops on through the door, though she does have some concern.]
What's the matter? Did you have a break-in?
no subject
[Or will try to kill them, in her future, their past. No need to complicate things though.]
no subject
Trust Atroma to raise the stakes. What's her name?
no subject
Azula. She's Zuko's sister.
no subject
PERFECTLY JUSTIFIED CONCERNBAD THING, WOW.but Vima does note the pause before the answer.]
His sister? Wow... that's messed up.
And it's not some 'I got caught up working for evil people without realizing it' situation?
[which happened with a couple of not-Jedi siblings in the Great Hyperspace wars, though how you join conquering Sith Lords without figuring it out is beyond Vima.]
no subject
no subject
she'll just let it happen by chance.]
That's one heck of a way to start the week.
no subject
Beverly sighs.]
You're telling me.
[Small smile.]
But I'm sure we'll get through it. This is a good crew.
