Who: Kanan Jarrus and you can too!
Broadcast: All
Action: On the Iskaulit
When: If you really try
[Kanan is sitting at the Málum on the Iskaulit, having himself a quiet drink as he contemplates the so-called Space Bar he passed getting to this particular alternate establishment. Neither one were quite like the cantina he used to work in back on Gorse and neither one of them had quite the crowds either. There was always a few here and there, but it would be a real stretch to ever call them packed. Which is what prompts him to take the time to look at the ship rosters.]
I've been looking at the ship rosters today. It looks like all of the ships in this fleet are at max capacity. Is that normal?
[It's not because he was trying to figure out a way to get himself and Hera on the same ship! It was just... professional curiosity. That's all.]
I also didn't bother with an introduction on my last broadcast. My name is Kanan. [And the part where he'd actually give anything about himself is abruptly not included when he decides to end the feed.]

Re: [ video ]
I'll find him, not to worry. How are you doing? Settling in all right?

Re: [ video ]
[ It's hard to tell. ]

Re: [ video ]
[ He never cared for it, though he did care for his men. ]

Re: [ video ]
I haven't run into many situations where that happens. But when you are a Padawan, you need to be prepared to accept any order your Master gives you as well as question it. It's important to know when to fight and when to accept.
[ video ]
[He's learned to accept now. Though mostly because now he's the one who gets all the questions.]
Re: [ video ]
[ To try and break down the workings of the Force with questions and demands only clouds it. ]

Re: [ video - locked ]
The Force doesn't exactly take sides. We were dealt a devastating defeat . . . but there is hope for victory too. Yoda has foreseen it and I believe, in the Skywalkers, that it came to pass.
[ Though TFA might shatter that view. ]

[That catches him off guard. He knew about Anakin, but there were others?]
Re: [ video - locked ]
Anakin fathered a family in secret. Luke Skywalker grew up to be a Jedi and overturned the Empire.
[ That must have been the victory Yoda spoke of. Before TFA happened, of course. ]
Apparently I had a hand in that, though they have yet to elucidate me on the how.

[He's stunned. Even now Kanan sort of just expected the Order to be all knowing. He knew that wasn't true - he'd even had to drill that into Ezra's head a few times. But still, it catches him completely off guard.]
Re: [ video - locked ]
[ Though the Jedi Order did often look the other way when it came to attachments. So long as there were no wedding vows attached. ]
I assume they were hidden afterwards.
[ video - locked ]
... that seems like a long time to wait.
Re: [ video - locked ]
[ He can only surmise the situation was so dire that they put their hopes on the future rather than themselves. It . . . still felt like cheating but Obi-Wan must have had a good reason not to go after the Sith himself. Or help the rebels. ]

[Having Ahsoka is incredible, that's for sure. But even she never fully completed her training. But having an actual Jedi Master on their side? It could really change the outcome of some really difficult situations. If he could take Obi-Wan's location back with him, it could represent a huge opportunity for the rebellion.]
Re: [ video - locked ]
I've been on Tatooine, from what I've gathered. I don't know for how long.
[ video - locked ]
[He kind of wishes he'd thought of that. Except then it would probably mean interacting with Hutts. All the same, he's going to try very hard to remember this. It could make all the difference.]
Re: [ video - locked ]
[ He knows very little of his sojourn to Tatooine and his actions taken along with Han, Luke and Leia. ]
[ video - locked ]
[Well... if that's the case, maybe he can make it a point to round up Luke as well. It would be good for Ezra to have someone to train alongside.]
Re: [ video - locked ]
Most likely. Leia grew up with Bail and Breha Organa. Perhaps it was our plan to hide the Force-sensitive children, the more powerful ones away from the Empire's notice.
[ Until they were ready. But even though, Obi-Wan can't believe this was all there was to it. ]
[ video - locked ]
... I see. We've begun doing some of that as well. One of our most recent missions was preventing a pair of Force sensitive children from falling into imperial hands.
[Naively, perhaps. But there exists that glimmer of hope that he and Ahsoka could reestablish the Order again. With Ezra and the Skywalker children, it would be enough to start something real. And then there would be those two babies who could start training a few years after that. By then, Ezra would be old enough to have an apprentice as his own. Yet, even such far fetched thoughts never really took root. He could never fully convince himself that the Jedi Order could ever truly be rebuilt.]
Re: [ video - locked ]
That's dangerous.
In many ways. Too many to even count. Force-sensitive children can be both a blessing or a gift, ready for plucking. Even Dooku fell. ]
The Force will know when the time is right.
