Who: Alistair and YOU?!
Broadcast: Fleetwide; mostly accidental.
Action: On the Marsiva!
When: Now? Now. Sure, now.
Teagan? Teagan! [ The man on the camera is young, handsome, and looking a bit put out to be where he is. This isn't his castle! What is this place? He's also sort of looking away from the screen, not fully aware he's broadcasting. He mostly thinks he's talking to himself. ]
Okay, hah hah, very funny, you've had your joke, now where are you? And where am I? I'm sure I've got a very important meeting with someone who will be very angry when I don't show up - not that I care much if I'm making the Orlesians angry, it's sort of funny when their faces get all red and they start trying not to swear, but still...
Have I been kidnapped? Has someone kidnapped me? I'm pretty sure kidnapping the king is treason. I can have your head for that. [ He doesn't sound so much angry as... vaguely confused and disoriented. ] Off with your head. Whenever I figure out who you are, I suppose.

I don't know - or, well, I suppose you know, since the price is probably friendship with me.

No no. The price is being terrible at displeasing you despite my best efforts. But it's a small price to pay for your friendship. [And she much rather have that than nothing at all.]

[ That's good. He's glad he made friends in her version of reality, too. ]

[She runs a hand through her hair and glances off to the side. A part of her wants to keep talking to him, because as... emotionally up and down as this conversation has been, she's missed him. But yet, her heart is welled up with a lot of pent up feelings which will likely result in tears, and that's not something she should hold off for too much longer. She reckons she'll be able to grab a drink and make it to her quarters before the crying jag starts.]
I have kept you for quite awhile, haven't I? And I suppose I can't shirk my work forever. [A white lie, there. Not something she likes doing, but it's preferable to the truth.] Did you have any other questions before I go?
no subject
No, at least not for now. Can I ask you some more later, maybe?
