VIDEO βΏ marsiva
Who: Alisaie Leveilleur
Broadcast: Fleetwide video
Action: Marsiva, hospitality deck
When: Current
[ A (surprisingly) tiny elf greets all who would come across this message in the most pleasant manner possible: by slamming her palms against the console and raising her voice. ]
How dare you! [ You possibly meaning the people behind her abduction though anyone is free to take offense. After all, it's a display for all to witness. ]
I bet you don't even have the gall to address me in-person! I swear to you, no matter what it takes, I will find the thieves responsible. [ Wait--thieves? Perhaps she's not so angry over being kidnapped as she is over something missing. Then again, hasn't she been stolen herself?
Alisaie, who has experienced loss so much over the span of her short life, can't bear to be without her grandfather's (second to) last gift to her. A grimoire that was half of one and yet fully operational as a focus on its own. After spending the past day searching for the highly-valued gift of sentiment, she's finally taken to addressing any who would listen. If Alphinaud were here, he would insist they could catch more flies with honey and perhaps she would have left this (all of this) to his expertise. Since she is seemingly without, her hand has been forced while she's not in the best of moods. ]
I would offer a reward for a hint but pray tell how I may compensate for aid when I am without my coin purse. [ Angry and cynical, what a good combination. Furthermore she won't waste anyone's time with trivialities or questions. That is knowledge she will discover on her own in due time.
For a moment, it appears as though the tantrum has concluded as she steps back from the console. No, something else sprung forth to mind and while she feels guilty he was not her first thought, he is now her primary one. Her gaze lowers towards the ground as her bangs fall over her eyes. There is one question she must ask no matter how painful the answer may be. She wills the courage within and speaks of it abruptly. ]
If you have seen a boy--[ They may be adults but Alphinaud will always be the little boy to her. ]--who shares my very image, I... [ would love to see him once more. The sentence never is completed, Alisaie growing more withdrawn as regret chews away at her.
Enjoy the emotional roller coaster today, viewers! ]

Goodness, you bore witness to that? [ That meaning her unsightly tantrum. If she's embarrassed, it doesn't show as she takes a step closer towards him, offering a hand.
Perhaps that outburst may yet prove to be of use to her. People often took pity on the weak and emotional. ] Alisaie Leveilleur.

Whether or not solid-gold eyes are anything strange in Eorzea, they're what Sascha has as he slowly reaches back to shake her hand, baffled. ]
...Sascha.
no subject
It's a pleasure, ser Sascha. [ Pulling her hand back slowly. ] As much as one could be considering the circumstances surrounding our meeting.
no subject
....
Are you an angel?? [ That's the only way to explain the white hair and ears and kindness, right?? ]
no subject
What's an angel??] No, I'm Elezen.[ Reaching up to point at one of her ears as if it were obvious this entire time. See? Pointy ears. Elezen. ]
From Sharlayan. [ She adds in case he inquires about what tribe she hails from. It hasn't quite dawned on her yet that people here arrive from different worlds because why would it? Her own world is vast and full of interesting things that have yet to be discovered! This could just be another instance of that occurring. ]
no subject
From...where?? Charlatan?
no subject
[ It's okay, Sascha. Not many people travel up that far. ]
From what nation do you hail? [ Normally she can pick a person's nationality easily enough but she's experiencing a bit of trouble with this one. Perhaps she's influenced by her emotions a bit more than she cares to admit. ]

Whoever our captors are, they must fancy collecting things from different parts of the world. It's good to know that about them--once we begin to understand their impulses, we will be able to determine their motivations.
no subject
Maybe she's collecting people? Although I'm not too sure how she got us into space... I'm sure I would've remembered that.
no subject
So now that's two people who completely misunderstand their situation......... Good job, Allen. ] Space?
[ As in the stars? Are they really in the stars? This can't be happening to her of all people. Astrology wasn't something she studied extensively. ]

no subject
Sharlayan are familiar enough with the stars--at least those who studied them extensively. I am no astrologian however.
no subject
Is that the thing with horoscopes? [ Leo and Virgo and all that? He'd never really bought into any of it nor paid close attention. ]
no subject
If one were here, we might be able to determine where in the sky we are. For now we'll have to find the answer out ourselves.
no subject
...If he'd ever watched TV, anyway. ]
no subject
On that we will have to disagree on.
[ No worries, she tends to not dwell on these things. ] Have you been able to discover anything yourself? Other than the presence of a siren.
no subject
There's a guy that likes to start fights too. I don't think he's the guy you're looking for though.
no subject
This girl with hair like mine... [ She murmurs, keeping her gaze elsewhere. It isn't him, it's her. ] Are you certain they do not look nigh identical to myself?
[ It's not the first time her brother has been mistaken for a maiden. ]
no subject
Nah, she was bigger than you. And taller. [ Bigger in muscle, in stature, in....chest-areas. You know. ]
And her ears were small.
no subject
And the ruffian-? Does he have a name?
[ She'll take her chances with the one who likes to fight. ]
no subject
But he was covered in blood.
no subject
Perhaps it was for the best you didn't get his name lest you be dragged into the same sort of trouble.
no subject
Aww...are you worried about me? [ Because that would be so touching and sweet, and maybe this means he's got a good target for bed-bugging later. ]
no subject
You seem as if you have a capable head on your shoulders. Worrying about one who can take care of themselves will only serve as a distraction.
[ Unless he does need help. Then she may have to wilt on her opinion and cave. ]
