VIDEO βΏ marsiva
Who: Alisaie Leveilleur
Broadcast: Fleetwide video
Action: Marsiva, hospitality deck
When: Current
[ A (surprisingly) tiny elf greets all who would come across this message in the most pleasant manner possible: by slamming her palms against the console and raising her voice. ]
How dare you! [ You possibly meaning the people behind her abduction though anyone is free to take offense. After all, it's a display for all to witness. ]
I bet you don't even have the gall to address me in-person! I swear to you, no matter what it takes, I will find the thieves responsible. [ Wait--thieves? Perhaps she's not so angry over being kidnapped as she is over something missing. Then again, hasn't she been stolen herself?
Alisaie, who has experienced loss so much over the span of her short life, can't bear to be without her grandfather's (second to) last gift to her. A grimoire that was half of one and yet fully operational as a focus on its own. After spending the past day searching for the highly-valued gift of sentiment, she's finally taken to addressing any who would listen. If Alphinaud were here, he would insist they could catch more flies with honey and perhaps she would have left this (all of this) to his expertise. Since she is seemingly without, her hand has been forced while she's not in the best of moods. ]
I would offer a reward for a hint but pray tell how I may compensate for aid when I am without my coin purse. [ Angry and cynical, what a good combination. Furthermore she won't waste anyone's time with trivialities or questions. That is knowledge she will discover on her own in due time.
For a moment, it appears as though the tantrum has concluded as she steps back from the console. No, something else sprung forth to mind and while she feels guilty he was not her first thought, he is now her primary one. Her gaze lowers towards the ground as her bangs fall over her eyes. There is one question she must ask no matter how painful the answer may be. She wills the courage within and speaks of it abruptly. ]
If you have seen a boy--[ They may be adults but Alphinaud will always be the little boy to her. ]--who shares my very image, I... [ would love to see him once more. The sentence never is completed, Alisaie growing more withdrawn as regret chews away at her.
Enjoy the emotional roller coaster today, viewers! ]

You're being inefficient if you just yell like that. You're wasting your time.
[ A pause. ]
That kid you're looking for - he's your brother, isn't he? [ A twin, most likely. ]
video
Yes, that is correct. [ A reply for both remarks. ]
'tis a tad unsettling to be without family though I somehow suspect I am not the first to be in this situation.

I mean - it's a waste of energy. Our hosts don't respond to stuff like that, so you're just giving them more material.
...Yeah. It is. [ His voice is a bit...strange, for a moment. ]
no subject
... [ More material? Whatever did he mean by that?
A question better asked once she's turned the conversation around. ] Are you here alone as well, ser-?

Sascha does not do this.
Instead he opts to actually approach, scratching his chin a little. ]
...You okay?
[ Girl who is obviously very much not. ]
action
Goodness, you bore witness to that? [ That meaning her unsightly tantrum. If she's embarrassed, it doesn't show as she takes a step closer towards him, offering a hand.
Perhaps that outburst may yet prove to be of use to her. People often took pity on the weak and emotional. ] Alisaie Leveilleur.

Whether or not solid-gold eyes are anything strange in Eorzea, they're what Sascha has as he slowly reaches back to shake her hand, baffled. ]
...Sascha.
no subject
It's a pleasure, ser Sascha. [ Pulling her hand back slowly. ] As much as one could be considering the circumstances surrounding our meeting.

Too loud, [he says, not quite scolding her.]
action.
Have you been here long? [ At least she's using a softer voice this time though the hardness of her gaze indicates she's every bit as pissed off as she was a moment ago. ]

When he arrived, he didn't react much at all. He still hasn't accepted this is really happening.]
A few days... [Oh, wow. Her hair is super pale.] Long enough to know that no one is going to answer you. I'm sorry.

She takes in a deep breath and does what she can to calm herself. A heated head will only cause things she should pick up on to evaporate and right now she needs every little thing chronicled in that brain of hers. ]
Would it do either of us any good to ask what here is? [ If he doesn't know, she'll invite him along to explore. Two heads are usually better than one when it comes to traveling to new places. ]

video;
Please.... try to be calm. I'm sure there are others who are able to help you find him. Or perhaps he will find you himself before you know it.
[Optimistic, at best. The only one she'd met from her home was someone she'd never met to begin with - Tyrion Lannister. He seemed keen on aligning himself with her, however, and had caused a great amount of conflicting emotions when they spoke.]
video;
Perhaps he will. [ Perhaps he won't. Her brother going missing is the least of her concerns as he was wont to disappearing at times. ]
I've certainly made my appearance known at any rate.
[ So if he happens to be around, he'll know that she is. ]
video;
[Is she laughing? Maybe a little.]
I hope you find him well, my lady.
audio;
[ It's brisk, and firm, but gentle. ]
Look around you. They sometimes bring people in batches, he might be asleep on one of the other bunks.
audio;
I have searched the area the best I could. [ For her book and her brother, as well as any clues as to where she may be. ]
There are others here but not my brother.
audio;
For now, have you eaten?
audio;
No. [ Alisaie says after a pause. ] It would be unwise to carry on without first securing a bite to eat.

I have not seen anyone fitting your description. [He pauses, and then adds:] Your ears are not nearly long enough to be someone from home.
video;
Your own are like the whiskers of a wild coeurl. [ She huffs up a bit in defense. ]
video;
At the very least, you are not the only elf here. There is myself-- obviously-- and my father, and Finrod, and there is Syeira too. The humans outnumber us but they are not too terrible in my experience. They may occasionally be loud or dirty but they are generally pleasant company.

in the end, she decides to speak up, clearing her throat a little. ]
Um, I'm not sure if anyone told you yet, but you can try check the older posts on the network to see if your brother is here. If not, there's a chance he could show up later too.
video
Older posts? [ By now she's gathered the network is this strange artifact (much like a link of pearls) so older posts must mean... things said in the past? ]
There is a record one could access?
video
Each post made on the network has a date, right? So you can go back through the archive and read what people have posted before. I think you can go all the way back to the very first post that was made, but it might take you a while.
