A few things.

There are a good number of fighters here or people otherwise trained in combat. I'm interested in observing people's abilities or training, or at least discussing what they can do. Spars could also be arranged if you want some exercise.

Secondly, I'll take recommendations for good literature available around here.

Finally, if you know how to knit or crochet then I'll offer you up to ten credits to watch you create something.

His immediate instinct, of course, is to say 'no'. His mouth even starts to form the word before he stops himself, eyes narrowed like he's engaged in some serious confrontation. Learn to talk to people, learn to have discussions, you can't get answers all on your own.

I wouldn't know that. It varies amongst the major countries, and even then I don't tend to follow trends like that. I keep to myself. [ That much is becoming evident. ]

I suppose the qualities of the food would affect the bloodstream and change the flavor for you.

So far there haven't been that many differences I've encountered when speaking to others about food. Perhaps just that we drink more tea. [ NOW HE'S ACTUALLY THINKING ABOUT IT ]

I'm not overly passionate about food. It's important, but that doesn't mean it's exceptionally interesting.

But...it's food. You guys come up with all sorts of complicated recipes and stuff for it.

Don't say 'you guys' as if all humans think the same way. We don't.

Surely your kind are also diverse.

...I guess? I don't really know. [ He's only kinda met a few people besides the one group initially, casually. Vampires don't really flock together as buddies unless they're Mentor and Newborn for some reason. ]

My Mentor never explained things to me. Or stuck around.

Oh... Well. Usually when you make a new vampire you either look after them or you get someone close to do it? And they teach you things like what you are, how it works. You call them your Mentor! [ And he....had none of that oops. Just a nice family of humans. ]

So you aren't born in the traditional sense, not as a vampire. I suppose that would make a considerable difference.

Yeah... I woke up pretty much alone, hehe. My Mentors were actually a bunch of humans so at first I thought I was still one of them! [ HAHA, SO FUNNY. Ha....haaa............. ]

Is it really such an issue to be something like that? It's just a different diet. I don't understand why it would become such an ordeal.

Well you do change a lot besides the diet. There's sunlight killing you, blinding you, being hungry all the time, being awake all night, teething... [ Let him just count things off on his fingers for a bit here. ]

You're describing physical changes, which are of a lesser impact.

Is there a rift between vampires and humans?
