[The bunks are filling up, but the new faces just keep appearing!

Are you a travel-weary passenger having trouble keeping your crew roster straight? Perhaps you are a fresh new recruit, finding themselves dumped into a new (and much less shiny) home. Or, maybe you've been around for a little bit and just haven't bothered meeting the other weirdos on this ship yet--what is their problem, anyway?

Well, this is the place for you!

All new passengers from the last few Shuffles, especially those who haven't met their crews yet, are welcome to post starter-comments here to invite those living on and visiting your ship to come and interact. Newbies could be just arriving on the ship, busying around where others can find them, or you can offering multiple options for interaction--however you'd like to set up your thread is fine. Just make sure to include the name of your ship in the header, so your crewmates can easily find you!

Everyone else-- go meet those newbies! Whether they are new to your own crew, or on ships you frequently visit, now is a great time to bump into them.]

[Santanico doesn't like sharing her bed with people. She's done it before, often with Carlos and more recently Richie but as someone who has had her personal space invaded more often than not?

She doesn't take to someone sneaking in her bed very well.

She sleeps during the day, usually, but she wakes up earlier than normal when she feels the weight upon her.

And then she precedes to try to push him off of her, her face becoming more reptilian as she vamps out in rage.]

What the hell are you doing?

[ That's...well. Creepy. And a bit scary if he's being honest. When Sascha gets shoved off the bed and winds up faced with that he recoils a little with some rapid blinking, uncertain if he's seeing this right.

Because he's pretty darn sure he's never seen anything like her before. ]

Sleeping? [ How the heck did she do that? Her whole face turned splotchy and green. ]

[She hasn't been completely open about what she is but she hasn't exactly hid it either. She feels no shame at being a culebra -- or a vampire with very snakelike features to people unfamiliar with the term. She makes no attempt to change her features back for now.

Mostly because she's feeling threatened and wants him to feel the same.]

I don't know you, why would you presume it's okay to sleep in my bed?

The door wasn't locked... [ As if that's the only criteria needed to invade someone else's personal quarters for comfort.

He's going to be very distracted by her eyes as well once he sets his own solid gold on them, the striking appearance of her thinned pupil odd. He's never seen any like them before; the vampires of his world have their permanently dilated after all.

He won't stand just in case that makes her attack him or anything, staying where he is for the time being. ]

That isn't an invitation.

[She's used to people staring at her appearance when she vamps out -- it seems to be unique to her world. People like Isaac didn't even seem to have any sort of vampires in their world, let alone culebras such as herself.]

Do you really think anyone would appreciate that?

I'd love to wake up next to someone...!

[ But that may put him in the singular minority there. Not everyone is as alone as Sascha. ]

...? No, not really. [ It's not as though anyone he actually knows is alive anymore. Everyone's a stranger now. ]
