Chocolate-flavored Dessert Cream on the House

[The bunks are filling up, but the new faces just keep appearing!

Are you a travel-weary passenger having trouble keeping your crew roster straight? Perhaps you are a fresh new recruit, finding themselves dumped into a new (and much less shiny) home. Or, maybe you've been around for a little bit and just haven't bothered meeting the other weirdos on this ship yet--what is their problem, anyway?

Well, this is the place for you!

All new passengers from the last few Shuffles, especially those who haven't met their crews yet, are welcome to post starter-comments here to invite those living on and visiting your ship to come and interact. Newbies could be just arriving on the ship, busying around where others can find them, or you can offering multiple options for interaction--however you'd like to set up your thread is fine. Just make sure to include the name of your ship in the header, so your crewmates can easily find you!

Everyone else-- go meet those newbies! Whether they are new to your own crew, or on ships you frequently visit, now is a great time to bump into them.]

Who says Atroma gets a say? We got to live on it, we decide what to call it.

You really think anybody's gonna get their collective asses down here to say otherwise?

[ 'Cause Dean's tried that, causing trouble to get attention, and it hasn't worked yet. ]

Oh, they'll probably erase our memory of deciding it or something.

...Right.

[ Somebody mentioned that to him, the memory thing. But it probably doesn't bother Dean as much as it should. Not like he hasn't lost memories before, most of which he hadn't missed. He wished he'd lost more, honestly. If only TPTB were ever not dicks. ]

So how's that whole selective amnesia thing work, anyway? Somebody's got to remember, or else nobody would know they'd lost memories, right?

It ever happen to you?

It did when the whole Fleet was trapped on the Marsiva. People would wander off, discover things and try to record them, but once they woke up the next morning, it was gone. Happened to me, too, and I can't really remember what it is I found.

On the Marsiva?

[ That gets Dean's attention, since he just tried to explore the place himself a couple days ago and didn't get far. ...Unless he did and doesn't remember it, but from the sound of it, they can remember everything up to what they found, including how they got there. ]

Anybody get further than when they first put us there? The cafeteria, medbay, that big ugly window, and all that crap?

A couple of months ago, everyone on the Fleet got beamed back there, actually. They had individual rooms for each of us, along with a big common area and a kitchen and such. Something about recalibrations- we were stuck there for a month.

Huh.

[ Reclaibrations... That gets Dean thinking. ]

So if, say, something happened to one of these ships. Like the engines got damaged, couldn't be repaired and couldn't keep up with the fleet... They'd just beam the whole crew back onto that thing, the Marsiva?

[ ................Dean, stop. Seriously, you've got a crew full of hot chicks and this dude (and the purple guy). You really want to piss them all off just to see a new room on the mothership??? Get your priorities straight, dude. ]
