Are you a travel-weary passenger having trouble keeping your crew roster straight? Perhaps you are a fresh new recruit, finding themselves dumped into a new (and much less shiny) home. Or, maybe you've been around for a little bit and just haven't bothered meeting the other weirdos on this ship yet--what is their problem, anyway?

All new passengers from the last few Shuffles, especially those who haven't met their crews yet, are welcome to post starter-comments here to invite those living on and visiting your ship to come and interact. Newbies could be just arriving on the ship, busying around where others can find them, or you can offering multiple options for interaction--however you'd like to set up your thread is fine. Just make sure to include the name of your ship in the header, so your crewmates can easily find you!

Everyone else-- go meet those newbies! Whether they are new to your own crew, or on ships you frequently visit, now is a great time to bump into them.]

[ He shoots her one of those long, slightly annoyed looks, like he's debating about ignoring her question again entirely, if only to see how long he can run around the topic while practicing his best subtle Jim Halpert impressions. But then he remembers he's not an eight year old. Unlike the genius who had probably named the ship he's on. ]

[There's a long moment of silence in which she simply stares at the feed. Did he really just say that? He's being serious, right? It's not like him to crack that type of joke. Or a joke at all. Most of the time.

Oh yeah, she's still staring.]

I-I'm sorry. I don't think I heard that right.

[He stares back. At least she doesn't seem to be trolling him for entertainment purposes (this time). But he doesn't feel like saying a stupid name twice.]

I'm so sorry, Irvine. [It sounds as if he just lost a good friend. May God have mercy on him.]

[Well okay back to business. She nods, expression sobering.]

Yeah. Plenty of faces here I don't recognize-- too many to be brought in at once. I've heard mention of other places, too, not just the castle.

[Despite the topic, her tone is still laced with some relief. Having someone who remembers the place is good, but having that person be a close friend from home as well is the most she could honestly ask for. Not that he'll ever hear any of this.]

He finds it almost hard to believe they're not inside that damn castle anymore. But he trusts Moonbay's judgement over his own. She had been at the place longer than he had. He's not sure what he'd prefer, but at least this place believes in proper communication channels instead of making them Dear Diary their lives.]

And? Do you remember going home?

Not at all. It's like I went right from there to here, but some time has past and I don't remember?

[There's a note of exasperation at the end of it.] It's kinda pissing me off.
