[The bunks are filling up, but the new faces just keep appearing!

Are you a travel-weary passenger having trouble keeping your crew roster straight? Perhaps you are a fresh new recruit, finding themselves dumped into a new (and much less shiny) home. Or, maybe you've been around for a little bit and just haven't bothered meeting the other weirdos on this ship yet--what is their problem, anyway?

Well, this is the place for you!

All new passengers from the last few Shuffles, especially those who haven't met their crews yet, are welcome to post starter-comments here to invite those living on and visiting your ship to come and interact. Newbies could be just arriving on the ship, busying around where others can find them, or you can offering multiple options for interaction--however you'd like to set up your thread is fine. Just make sure to include the name of your ship in the header, so your crewmates can easily find you!

Everyone else-- go meet those newbies! Whether they are new to your own crew, or on ships you frequently visit, now is a great time to bump into them.]

I knew that! I just... [He didn't think. The computer asked for co-ordinates and he panicked or... just fell back on old habits. You know?]

I can just take this one right?

[He sets the communicator down, screen up, flicking a few switches here and there.]

You are aware that you have other passengers on that ship and that piloting them somewhere they aren't expecting to go is akin to kidnapping, right?

[ Listen to his voice. Listen to how hard he's trying to make it sound like he actually gives a shit. Kidnap them, he doesn't even care. ]

I'm not kidnappin' them!

We're just going to visit you. They won't mind.

Explain to me how what you're doing is completely different from kidnapping.

[ He's sure some of them would absolutely mind given how utterly unpleasant he is. ]

... Well. It's just-- you know, showing them something different?

If you're this insistent, take one of your shuttles to the station. If you're not capable of figuring that out, I can take one of mine there.

I'm not insistent!

[Sasuke does kind of have a point though, which is why he's working on shutting down the take off... before the engines start whirring.]

I'm gettin' a shuttle.

[ A moment of silence for the sheer denial Uzumaki Naruto is in.

'I'm not insistent'. Yeah. Okay. ]

Then I'm cutting off this connection. I don't need to hear you narrating your journey.

[..... Sasuke why!?]

[Oh, yeah. Because you're insanely jealous of his ninja flying skills.]

Heh. Yeah yeah. I'll see ya when I get there.

[ He is so salty rn, he is hanging UP. ]

[It's amusing to Naruto, honestly. Once he gets past how offended he maybe didn't need to be. Sasuke was too predictable.

Instead, he focuses on getting across to the station. It's easy, and maybe Sasuke didn't need to do with his commentary, but he still chattered away to himself whilst he went about flying out in the shuttle.

As soon as he touched down and got out of the thing, he was alert, ready and completely unsure of what would be the normal way to react to seeing him. Was he waiting? Or did Naruto have to go off and find him?

Oh. Right he could tell where he was if he stopped thinking about flying and-- there.]

[ Sasuke on the other hand alternates between a logic-based calm -- he and Naruto finished their fight, finished their war, it's over and part of the past -- and swells of much more emotionally fueled apprehension. He stays at his table at the restaurant until just sitting and sensing him growing steadily closer becomes too distracting a torture, paying his bill before getting up and actually heading towards the busy docks.

That's where he waits to see the shuttle, in the darker but somehow still more lively area of the Starlight, straightening up when he spots a shock of blond hair. ]

... [ What's he supposed to greet him with? ]

... oi, usuratonkachi!

[ It's the only thing that feels right somehow. ]

[Spotting Sasuke, and hearing him in the same moment might just have lessened any blow to his ego that the nickname dealt him.

His lips quirked without effort, and he was positively beaming as he headed over, in a gentle jog toward his friend. It would take some time to get used to the lack of one arm, he didn't feel completely unbalanced, but already he'd altered his jacket so it would wave around behind him.

Naruto slowed, taking a few careful steps until he was a few feet from Sasuke, and with a split-second to decide, he closed the gap - throwing an arm around Sasuke's shoulder, pulling him against him in a hug.]

Teme.

[ It's only been a few weeks. It's only been a few weeks. It's only been a few weeks.

Even still the veritable wave of chakra that he's hit with -- and can again only sense even more clearly now -- is almost suffocating, almost looking away but he's all too quickly drawn into that hug. Oof-- ]

Tch... Your reactions are always too extreme. [ And yet he's not pulling away, throat momentarily tightening before his expression settles again. ]
