[The bunks are filling up, but the new faces just keep appearing!

Are you a travel-weary passenger having trouble keeping your crew roster straight? Perhaps you are a fresh new recruit, finding themselves dumped into a new (and much less shiny) home. Or, maybe you've been around for a little bit and just haven't bothered meeting the other weirdos on this ship yet--what is their problem, anyway?

Well, this is the place for you!

All new passengers from the last few Shuffles, especially those who haven't met their crews yet, are welcome to post starter-comments here to invite those living on and visiting your ship to come and interact. Newbies could be just arriving on the ship, busying around where others can find them, or you can offering multiple options for interaction--however you'd like to set up your thread is fine. Just make sure to include the name of your ship in the header, so your crewmates can easily find you!

Everyone else-- go meet those newbies! Whether they are new to your own crew, or on ships you frequently visit, now is a great time to bump into them.]

Indeed, especially in as diverse a group as the Fleet.

My friend Eugene on the Vanquish is something of an experimental chef, actually, and I do like to help with his projects. I don't have a great deal of experience as to whether it's any good, but his ship hasn't complained about his skills yet.

[And "edible" is a secondary quality of almost all the plants he's collected, even if "medicinal" has first priority.]

It only really has to be good or bad to you. If you like it then it's good. There are probably people out there who don't like pizza and while they're clearly wrong they also get to not eat any of my pizza. [It's not just for mutant turtles.]

[Mr. Stark likes pizza, so he's actually tried it a few times.]

I believe there is a pizza place on the station, though their delivery fees are barely short of extortion and I'm told faux pepperoni is "the work of the devil". Perhaps we could order some for the ship?

[The pepperoni comment gets a laugh.] That sounds good, but I am pretty sure I have zero money at this point. [She hasn't even been to the station yet.]

Perhaps I could use some of my profits, then. I'm employed as a holographic technician at one of the fancier dance clubs. With a pilot augment, you may be able to get a temporary position as a shuttle pilot or courier, if you desire.

That's a good idea. Rogue mentioned covering me when we meet up, but I don't want her having to do that.

And pizza is always a great idea if you really want to do that. [Look at you being nice and generous.]

[It's not like he has much use for money himself, except to get improvements for the ship.]

It would be my pleasure.

If there was a competition for my favorite person here you'd be doing really well in it. [She's easy. Okay, she's not really that easy with things like real, meaningful trust. But she has a pretty good feeling about him. He kind of reminds her of Data. He's from the life. He's offering pizza. And he's spending his time growing things his body probably doesn't need at all.]

[Yeah no, he doesn't exactly need medicine and he'll argue that the plants are a backup source of oxygen--but he doesn't really need that either, if it gets down to it. But he likes living things and being surrounded by living things, and besides, it's excellent trading material. The Blue Fish pays top dollar for bacon kelp.]
