[She has to laugh at his enthusiasm. She wasn't nearly as excited by this place's technology as he seemed to be.]

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt, no.

[Going to just inch closer and inspect one of these drinks now. What is it he's got in each glass? Is it all the same thing? She only ever drank water and tea, and wine would probably join it if she didn't want her wits about her.]

Have you had a look around?

[Trying to make conversation, at least a bit at a time. It's hard to be sociable when all she wants to do is go home, but she's had some nice conversations with other people across the fleet so far. It wouldn't kill her to get to know one more member of the Caprine's crew.]

[ One is orange soda, another green tea, and this one seems like it might be a type of strawberry or melon flavoured juice. ]

I have. The ship is comfortable enough for me, what of you?

It's taken some getting used to. Where I'm from we remain firmly on the ground and my living quarters were more spacious.

[And she had quite a lot more silks than she does at present. Hesitantly, she brings the juice towards her lips, sipping it before giving a look of pleasant surprise. It was sweet, as one would expect juice to be, and she liked the flavor. She'll continue drinking for now.]

The only thing we did with steel is used it to make swords and armor - not to fly.

[Though she does admit the view outside the windows could be nice.]

Aye, it may seem strange. In Asgard swords and magic are side by side with ships like these.

Magic. What sort of magic?

[She's learning some worlds don't practice the horrible magic that had taken Khal Drogo from her, or had tried to take her dragons. It was a relief, but the word still made her uneasy whenever she heard it.]

There are many kinds. What are you familiar with?

Blood Magic, mostly, but I suppose other less lethal kinds.

[If you considered Dragons non-lethal anyway]

I don't practice it myself. I'll leave that to those with more devious means.

[ So she is used to sinister kinds. ]

In Asgard we use it in battle, or to cast illusions, and shapeshift. A few of many uses. I could not tell you &mdahs; I am no sorcerer.

I can think fo far worse things than those to use magic for. Does it give you an advantage in the field?

[She would hope so, if they're going to the trouble of doing it in the first place.]
