[ To say that Ramse is displeased is an understatement. This is the second time he's been yanked from one world to another, and where the first was actually an improvement, this second place is... not. Outerspace. Really. Really?! They don't even have space travel in his time, though he knows that in the past people made it as far as the moon. Nothing like this. His outrage at being taken is the overwhelming thing, though. He was happy in Eudio, where there was food and people he cared for. They told him they were sending him home (something he already had mixed feelings about) and instead he's here. Having to learn a new way of life all over again and excuse me it's being watched?

He's found the armory and the clothes in his bunk room, at least, so now he's dressed and armed. He sits in the cold empty space while he fiddles with the communicator. It turns out to be easy to use, and when he makes a broadcast his voice is deep and grumbly. Someone's sooooo cranky. ]

So let me get this straight, I'm new and might not have understood. We're here... to be entertainment. Not to save the world, not to help with a war, not to do anything productive at all.

[ It's okay, Sascha doesn't even notice; he's just nodding happily. ]

Okay~! Where do you wanna go??? Do you want Earth food? Or something space-y?

Is there Earth food here? [ There's the curiosity, sure, but he's got a feeling there will be plenty of other chances. ] Let's go with that, I've had enough of the protein blocks.

[pneumo]

Ohhh...the cubes. Yeah, they don't smell very good. [ But that's also probably because he can't eat them...... ] Human food it is! I know a cool place by this club I helped out at once.

Yup! I'm awake at night and no one else is so I wander around a lot. [ Like he starts now, although he has a location in mind this time for a change. ]

[ Ramse looks around as they walk, confident he won't lose his new acquaintance thanks to the umbrella. It's a little overwhelming how different everything is from what he knows, both home and Eudio. He still hasn't quite accepted that they're in space, let alone that this is a space station. One hand stays on his freaky space weapon as they weave through the crowd of what seems like a market. He recognizes maybe half the items in the shops. ]

Is your world anything like this?

Earth? Nah... Or well. This is space and full of aliens, and earth isn't. I'd never been to space before I got here.

[ Or across the ocean for that matter, but that's not as relevant a piece of information. ]

Nobody goes to space where I'm from.

There's no aliens either.

There might be aliens, just out there back on their home planets. Laughing at what a shitfest we made of our own world.

[ He points; there's a shop with normal looking clothes, he'd like to get a sweater or something at least. ]

[ Salute! Sascha will move right on over, closing his umbrella when they get near the shop's entrance--and immediately yawning as the sun hits him. No bursting into flames or turning to ash here. ]

A plague killed off most of the population when I was a kid. [ He rummages through the rack for something his size. ] It's been a fight for survival ever since.

--The Black One?? [ The Bubonic, he means. Sascha's only ever heard of it; he wasn't around for it that he knows. ]

[ He's getting a sweater and pulling it on after he buys it, since that's the most efficient way to carry shit. ]

Ad it killed all the people...? Man, the vampires there must be having it rough!

We don't have vampires -- I learned about them in the place I was before here.
