[He's given up on even trying to eat the food on these stations. They taste too sweet, too fruity- like someone with Colette's palette went insane and got themselves a business.]

[But still, sometimes he still needed an excuse to get away from his crewmates for a bit. Today it was under the guise of running errands and picking up supplies. Except...he doesn't seem to be doing that. Instead it looks more like he's sitting on a bench, with his nose in a book. There's a satchel near him like it's meant for supplies, but it's still very much empty]

[And yeah, he's absorbed enough in the book that he doesn't notice Merrill nearby yet]

[ Upon spotting a familiar figure (he's quite noticeable, even in all this color), Merrill doesn't hesitate to pick up her pace in walking over, calling out once she's near. ]

[ Oh wait, she got too excited. He was reading, wasn't he? Now she feels terrible, knowing how enticing a good text can be! ]

Hello. But don't let me interrupt you. Is it a good book? Don't answer that, I'm leaving!

[He had looked up from his book. But before he could even respond, she's trying to leave. Jeez- he lowers his book]

Whoa, hey! You don't have to leave Merrill! It's fine!

[ That's good, since she hasn't seen him (in person) for a long time, and this place is rather overwhelming. She'll step closer again at the invitation (close enough?), lurking but not sitting. ]

But is it a good book?

Nope, you don't.

[He holds it up. Possibly unsurprisingly, it's one of Varric's books. Since hey, there really isn't THAT much to read this far out]

It's alright, yeah. Beats rereading the information on the network for the 13th time.

Really? I still haven't read everything. There is so much! But there's also a lot to look at. It's a bit much.

[And double that time even with the lack of sleep thing. He slides over on the bench, making sure there's room for her to sit]

And really after awhile the info in the network just starts to sound repetitive. Dry stuff, really.

Varric had mentioned that it has been somewhat boring. I wouldn't argue against having more time to read!

What sort of things are more entertaining to see on the network? Ratings are good, aren't they?
