[he's out of the ship almost as soon as it lands, anxious to get out and about and away from his riled-up crew. he scrubbed off his face and left his big coat at home--if there's any trouble on this station, he'll just have to deal with taking it on as a normal person. this colorfully-lit mall isn't the place for the Boogieman. it probably never even gets dark here.

so he's headed her way, checking his communicator to see if she's sent him any coordinates, or if he's just going to have to look around...]

[she checks the time. yes... it should be here. Her ship had arrived slightly ahead, so she wanted to scout out a good location. This place seemed nice. Out of the path of the main walk ways, but not creepy and deserted. There was a bench if he wanted to sit, but plenty of room if he waned to stand-- Yes, this would be a nice place. Her ice cream was finished, and she pulls up his number and sends a text]

Hello! Whenever you would like to meet up, I'm at these coordinates on the space station.

[she considers adding "there's no need to hurry if you're still a ways away" but... eh, she sends it as it. She's excited :')]

[he is trying not to be excited. it feels like he shouldn't be. he only really gets excited about old cars and new guns and a really, really good chase. Nunnally is very far from any of these things, but he still gets that feeling when a new message shows up.

he finds the coordinates pretty fast, spots her sitting on a bench. she looks the same as she did before she disappeared. Zhas looks normal-faced and there's barely any glow to his eyes with all these lights around, but he still gives her that tiny little uncommitted wave of his.]

[Ah! She's been keeping a lookout, so when he spots her she also spots him! Waving, she moves her chair towards him a bit to close some of the distance (doesn't want to make him do all the work... She smiles more openly and looks him up and down. Wounds, undernourishment... anything that would imply things have been really terrible in the last month.

Mm, he looks the same, more or less. Her heart lightens a bit in relief]

It's good to see you in one piece.

[he looks just as leggy and sharp as always. no bandages, no impaired movement. he might even look a little less permanently hunched-up, since someone cast Cure on him... twice.

he smiles at her, which looks better without the makeup. he'll close the distance and kneel down, so he can be on her level. she doesn't look like she's fallen under any more curses since she left, and she smells the same... that's good.]

[a Zhas smile!!!!! shiny pokemon!!!! that makes her smile even more, and she sort of... nods as he kneels down? as if to clarify 'yes, I'm alright']

While you and Hange are both very responsible, I couldn't help but worry that you both got into trouble. [now she's just talking just to talk... because she's happy, she's a nerd]

[he nods a little... he knows what she means. and since he can't possibly think of a way to explain this with gestures, he just adds:]

She's fine too.

[she lets out a slight 'whew' sound] That's good. [she always seems so... manic isn't the right word, but driven. It's impossible to imagine someone with such dedication being happy with the idea of being away from their home for so long. Sometimes she wonders if that fact is just eating away at her. Ah, but that's a conversation to have with Hange someday]

Oh, someone told me that everyone visited a planet that was covered with snow. Were you all able to explore it?

[nodding, a little. to think that was just a little while ago...]

There was a city. Not a lot of people.

But it sounds like there was still interesting things to do?

[he nods, and then hesitates... but he thinks he can tell her:]

I threw snowballs.

[a warm smile spreads across her face, and she holds back a tiny giggle. She doesn't want to embarrass him after all, but maaaaan... :')]

I can't believe I didn't get to see it, that sounds wonderful.

[he nods. he isn't really embarrassed. it was fun.]

Haven't missed much. Teaching Hange sign.

[he forms a couple of signs with his hands to illustrate what he means.]

Really? [that's such a good idea.... she kinda looks like she wants to pry, or ask if she can join, but if it's their time she doesn't want to impose]

Is she a fast learner?

Yeah, pretty fast. New guy, too. [she doesn't really have to ask. he was thinking about it already, even if she isn't on the ship with them.] You should learn.

I'd love to! [good job mind reading bro, she looks delighted at the suggestion :3 She'd like to get to know Coil this time around, and it would likely make Zhas's life easier too. She's a big fan of both ideas]

[good, good. he nods again, his expression easy, before he stands up again.

he takes a moment to look around the station... it's very bright here. it's the kind of place the normal people flocked to. he kind of tried to avoid these spots while in his human face, to be honest.]

...Where should we go.

[hm, she watches him look around. The entire place was well populated. She taps her chin.... The entire place was quite bustling, but there must be some quieter sections of the ship]

Maybe we could find somewhere with a bit more space? We could just walk and see the sights.

[theboogieman]

[...that doesn't sound so bad. he looks up, nodding a little.]

Walking is fine. The ship's cramped.

And this way we can see the sights. [hmm... as they wander she muses out loud]

It's amazing to imagine that all of these millions of people have been living through out the universe, and if we hadn't been brought here we might never have known.

[that's an interesting point... but he's got kind of a biased view about that.]

Wonder if there's a reason.

A reason why we were brought here?

A reason we've never seen them before.

[since undiscovered species kind of bring a sense of dread to him, after all that vampire nonsense...]
