[Sokka beams, nodding in understanding. ]

We have a special helmet we wear to battle. It's a wolf's head. People see the wolf head on a battlefield, and they know the Southern Water Tribe are out there.

[He smiles]

Yes! Like that!

Though...a wolf head does sound like a bit of a cooler symbol.

They are really cool.

[A pause.] Also kinda heavy.

I'm pretty sure most armour's heavy, Sokka. It's made to protect the wearer.

Well, yeah, that's a given. I bet I could make something lightweight and sturdy, though.

[The smile on his face gets a little sad, nostalgic, his eyes fall back onto that cross]

Mm, maybe you could. Komui was always trying to come up with something like that. He'd even try to tailor each of our uniforms to best match our needs. Mine always had extra pockets, so I could carry snacks...

[Komui always tried to look out for them, to protect them as much as he protected his sister. He regretted that he never got one more time to speak with him, to thank him for everything he did...]

[He shook his head, not now. He looks back at Sokka]

Sorry. I wish I could remember how he did it. Maybe if one of the uniforms turns up here, you can study it.

Yeah? That's pretty awesome of him.

[Oh. Allen looks sad. He sucks at this comforting thing, it's Aang and Katara's domain. He and Toph just try to pretend feelings don't exist. He awkwardly pats Allen on the shoulder. There there.]

I'd appreciate that, man.

[Wow Sokka that is such a warm and comforting gesture. Way to go. But it's alright, Allen really isn't looking to go into it, so he shakes away that look of sadness]

Mm, it's no problem!

So...you got a boomerang?

[It's super warm and comforting. He's probably sprained something.]
