Who: Anyone! Everyone!
Broadcast: If you want!
Action: On the FLOOT LOOP stations! Or the planet!
When: WHENEVER time is an illusion.
[you know the drill! this is a mingle for the stations floating around the bizarre forest planet, or the forest planet itself!
want to get away from the forest illusions? are you stopping for supplies? were you just really craving a bowl of Floot Loops for some reason? whether you are backdating for pre-planet shenanigans or just want to mess around, this is the post for you!]

[easy or not. he'll take it.]
Married to your work, I see.

[though he's asking it lightly enough. this is just casual drinking conversation.]

[Another shot tossed back. She's smiling, but she's serious.]

[and he can be a little more genuine himself while her brain is wrapped in alcohol. it's a surprising thought, and he doesn't sound sarcastic in the least.]
It's that much of a concern?

She takes another shot... going to run out soon, unfortunately... and stares out the window in silence. Drums her fingers on the table top once, the only outward indication of the fervent energy that always lives in her, while she untangles herself, tamps down what she needs to and reroutes the slow flush of anger into something less potentially... explosive.
It is, in a sense, easier when boozed up.]
Ohhh yes. Oh yes it is.
[Nothing more to say about that.]

[he doesn't care if she cares or not. or listens or reacts or laughs at him. it's fine. he'll say what's on his mind anyway. because every once in a while, he surrenders to sentimentality.]
As a creature of Fate, who has been watching humanity for a very long time and knows these sorts of things... the last thing that mankind must worry about is extinction.

I don't believe in that, either, sorry to say. [Who knows how much smoke he's blowing?]
And you don't know the circumstances.

[and he laughs a little, too!]
I've even caused some of them! Its also my job.
...But you can't kill off rats, and you can't kill off humankind. It's just the way it is.

[She doesn't believe a word of it, but she's amused that he... bothered.]

so, moving right along--]
What are you looking for? --As my final question.
no subject
Such a general question. She's looking for a lot of things. She filters through a lot of possible answers. A drunk mind makes it slower, but eventually she gives him the shittiest non-answer of them all:]
More information.

[--he fills in her thoughtful silence. it's an obvious observation, but he thinks it deserves comment anyway.]

[A more apt and telling answer might be, for an effective way to fight. But she doesn't feel like saying that.
Now she gazes at the shot glasses with disappointment. Empty... which, ah. It might be for the best anyway. She should probably stop. Especially since she consumed his laced shot earlier. She should... go back to home base... induce vomiting... drink some water, eat something bland, try to sleep it off.
That's a lot of steps. She turns her head and stares out the window again.]
no subject
and he laughs, just a little.]
...Is this what you'd been hoping for?

[Her attention swings back towards him. Even drunk, her intensity is strong.]
Be clearer.

When you decided to head out tonight and drink.
Did you get what you wanted? Are you satisfied?
no subject
Yes.

You were looking awfully pensive for a moment there.

[She settles back in her seat, eyes half closing. Since their contest is over, she's toning at least a little of her energy down. She's also pretty neutral on whether or not she actually wants to pursue a conversation with him.]
