The bartender thing is just a means to the end. Helping me ferret out information from the locals. After all, we know very little of this galaxy.

Oh...yeah. I don't know anything about any galaxy. [ Come to think of it... ]

Really...? [ That's probably one of the first times he's ever been on the same level as the general public when it comes to knowledge. Success! ]

Yes. You're hardly the first one here to be unaware of space travel and the galaxy at large.

[pneumo]

Wow...haha! That's the first time that's ever happened! [ He kicks one leg, grinning. ] Usually I'm waaaaay behind everyone else.

Well...I don't know very much about stuff! [ He shrugs. ] I've never been to school. Coming here is actually the first time I can read, all of a sudden it was like bam! I could do it.

What do you normally do, back on your world?

Watch people, most nights. Sometimes I meet other people like me and we walk around a bit... But usually they leave before the sun comes up. Then I go to sleep.

People like you? What do you mean by that?

Not...human. [ Sascha doesn't wanna drop the V-word :c ]

There's nothing wrong with that. Especially here.

[ He's reluctant. Obi-Wan can sense it. There's something else there, something he can't quite put his finger on. The meaning escapes him. ]

Yeah, but I'm something most people don't like. [ Sort of like a human-sized leech. With major, deep-seated hunger problems. ]

Thankfully, I don't fall into the category of most people. Won't you at least tell me?

[ And this is why Obi is the best dad ever. Sascha's reassured by it and nods a little as he kicks his feet twice more. ]

A vampire?

[ He takes a minute to process the term. Vampiric . . . wasn't there a species that fed on energy? He seemed to vaguely recall that from the Archives. At any rate, he doesn't seem bothered by this new-found information. ]

So what do you feed on?

[pneumo]

Um...meat. So animals. And um. People--but I don't eat eat them! Just their blood! And I haven't bitten anyone! [ These he insists on, because Bigby has been very keen about making sure he follows those rules. ]

I believe you. I imagine biting people might be tricky. You might find yourself "accidentally stabbed" once more.

[ It can't be easy though. He's seen other species who must maintain certain diets. Being removed from their world or being forced to travel puts them in dire situations. ]

[pneumo]

That was because I surprised someone when I tried to sleep with them.

[ Platonically. Like he did with Obi! Only involving a bed, and night time. ]

At least you understand why it happened. It seems like you're managing well with your diet.
