[Furiosa has been thinking lately; unfocused, meandering, leisurely. It's been an adjustment being in an environment that is at the same time far more free and open than the society she'd come from, and yet with distinct and unbreakable limitations.]

[Sitting with Max in the park, helping to build and grow the gardens on the Iskalut, even just caring for her own little plant from Asteffiel, were in themselves little victories, prided moments.]

[She begins a video feed in the park, the camera focused on a crow as she tosses it bits of bread (that, alone, was different; having enough food that you could give it to such a feathered thief.]

What are your favorite parts of the station? Where do you want to visit one more time before we go?.

The library, absolutely! I'm gonna be so sad when we have to leave that behind. I'm trying to read as much of it as we can before we depart, just so I can keep as much of it in my head as possible.

That's quite an undertaking. [It was much larger by many times than the only other library she'd known.] How many have you read so far?

Let's see...at least forty-two volumes cover to cover, but I've also been doing a lot of jobs since I got here. I haven't been able to go there as often as I'd like. [he reads fast don't mind him] I wonder if any of the digital books we check out will still be accessible for the rental period even after we depart?

Hm. I don't know. Could you ask the establishment? Might not make much of a difference for Atroma, though.

The parks. It's the most green I've ever seen since my childhood. [Which was short and fleeting and this is the most she's mentioned about it. Feel special, kid.]

Wow, really? Do you usually live somewhere without much foliage? [like a desert or something, maybe]

My world is a scorching Wasteland. The Green Place where I grew up was one of the few, and it was poisoned like the rest of the world.

Oh gosh. I'm so sorry to hear that. [Sounds like a place after it's been destroyed by malevolence.] Yeah, I can definitely see enjoying the parks after coming from a place like that.

There's a little garden on one of the ships too, the Iskaulit. Have you been there yet?

I have, I'm helping to tend it. Someday, though ... I hope to see a planet with a bit more green on it.

If we ever make a stop at my planet, I'd be happy to show you around. There's green all over the place; lakes and waterfalls, and the ocean and forests and jungles and marshes. You'd really like it.
