[Furiosa has been thinking lately; unfocused, meandering, leisurely. It's been an adjustment being in an environment that is at the same time far more free and open than the society she'd come from, and yet with distinct and unbreakable limitations.]

[Sitting with Max in the park, helping to build and grow the gardens on the Iskalut, even just caring for her own little plant from Asteffiel, were in themselves little victories, prided moments.]

[She begins a video feed in the park, the camera focused on a crow as she tosses it bits of bread (that, alone, was different; having enough food that you could give it to such a feathered thief.]

What are your favorite parts of the station? Where do you want to visit one more time before we go?.

The park, I think. Having such peace in the middle of urban chaos is... a good balance, I think.

...Also, that noodle shop on 7th Avenue.

The grass is pretty great. Uh...they really don't like it when you eat it, though.

The library, absolutely! I'm gonna be so sad when we have to leave that behind. I'm trying to read as much of it as we can before we depart, just so I can keep as much of it in my head as possible.

The datary! I want to retain everything I can. Maybe I can try to write down as much as I can before I leave!

It's an amazing collection, certainly. They don't let you copy any of it over?

[This technology is still nothing like what she was used to from home, so there's a lot of confusion in how it all actually works.]

Well, so far the data I've collected has stayed on my comm! But I'm not sure if I trust it to stay. Plus, I learn things a lot better if I write it down and figure it out on my own.

[It's a bit of extra work, sure, but it's worth it to fully understand the more complicated parts of the information he reads.]

That's quite an undertaking. [It was much larger by many times than the only other library she'd known.] How many have you read so far?

I think we have vastly different ways of enjoying grass.

[She's gotten a little more used to his antics, but really every conversation she has with him is another exercise in culture shock.]

[She gives him a dry chuckle.]

You call this chaos? You wouldn't have lasted two minutes in the Wastelands.

True. I don't know if I'd trust Atroma either. What sort of data are you collecting?

[He laughs back.] Maybe not! You'll have to tell me about it, so I can judge for myself.

Nothing. I want to get off this artificial hellhole and hope we get a planet next time.

Preferably a planet with a forest and big prey.

[She's no History Woman but she'll try.]

The Earth is poisoned; it's a wasteland in all directions. Pockets of civilization are violent. You're either a bottom feeder, living open in the elements and fighting for scraps, or you're a Half-Life Warboy who's only desire is to die historic on the Fury Road before you're overcome by diesease. Water is controlled by a tyrant. Sound tempting yet?

[Somberly:] I don't know what the Fury Road or a Half-Life is, but our water was controlled by a tyrant as well. If that's anything like where I grew up, you have my sympathy.

With less snow, preferably.

[Since the last planet had left the desert-dweller sick.]

...True. It is pretty much just a pony thing.

Though I think they'd get made if you just stepped on it. They're super touchy about the grass.

I'm indifferent to the snow levels. I mostly just want to get to a real world, with wind and open skies and open ground.

It's not a place, but it's been nice to work with people outside the Fleet. [She's not sure she'll miss any one location in comparison to that.]

Th... The shops! [It took her a moment to summon up the courage to say as much about herself; the idea of voicing her likes and dislikes... it's still difficult for her, getting out of that slave mentality. She smiles wide, a bit unnaturally, like it's a trained trait. But soon she relaxes into it.] I like the ones with all kinds of different things. Many colors... Lots of cups and blankets and odd little toys and boardgames...

It's nice to walk and look at everything.

Mostly any records that I can find of the history of the place and the space around it. So far, I've got a lot of things downloaded onto my comm to write down, though I haven't found anything about the way the SF Starlight was actually constructed.

What I do have is some astronomical history. I've got a book that talks all about the constellations: their names, the science behind them, and lots of other things!

[The book is his baby now and he loves it]

The Fury Road connects the Citadel and Gas Town. Cuts through the Wasteland, littered with bandits. A dangerous but vital trade route. Half Life ... those diseased by the world. Short lived. [She pauses.] It's almost worse for the rest of us.

[She pauses in thought. Yeah, she'd stepped in it. Sat in it. Ran her fingers through it like it were precious jewels.] They might be protective of it. There's not a lot of it in space.

It's good to hold onto history. Tells you where things went wrong. How they went right.

Are you able to make a star map?

Parks aren't enough?

[The text might not convey it, but she asks with more curiosity than accusation. To someone used to so little green, any green she got was a blessing, but she figures someone used to a lot of it might not be so easily satisfied.]

There really isn't.

[Then, in a conspirational whisper.]

I might have acquired some seeds to plant in the Iskaulit gardens. So we can have grass.
