[It isn't peaceful when the man in the broadcast finally stirs awake. One moment he's merely laying there, awkwardly nude and as still as death, the next he's a flailing mass of limbs that succeeds at knocking himself to the floor. There's a grunt as he meets the floor, and what ensues is a rather odd struggle as he tries unsuccessfully to untangle himself. The best he can manage is a disorganized heap, arms caught beneath his torso and cheek pressed uncomfortably into the floor as he very adamantly voices his displeasure.]

Ordis demands to know what is going on immediately!

[There's certainly anger in his tone, but beneath it there's notes of increasingly uncontrolled alarm, which only seem to increase exponentially with each word. Strangely though, it doesn't seem as though he's quite used to the act of even speaking though, as he struggles to unpin his arms, his hands fly to his face and fingers probing about his features with almost frenetic energy. It can't be pleasant, because there's an exlimation of surprise and pain that has him jerking back and staring wide eyed and horrified down at his arms.]

What is this?!?

Ordis is not entirely please with this situation, Operator, but he thinks that it would be much worse to be stuck in a corpus machine. Scumbags they are.

[But oh it's the Operator, his Operator, and that means that everything is going to be okay. Somehow. But it will be okay.]

[tennohno]

Well that's not wrong. Anyway I recovered some things for you.

[The haul is dropped onto the edge of the bed before he goes back to watching the door. Not only to give the cephalon privacy but secruity.]

Hopefully some of it is of use.

[cephalon]

Excellent. Thank you, Operator.

[He's not naive, and certainly not dim enough not to know what clothing is, even if this is radically different from the fashions of their home. Still, it takes a bit for him to fumble with everything and figure out how to actually get it on. The body he's been placed in feels clunky, slow, and terribly terribly awkward to try to manuver, and even if the the Operator has faith that he'll get used to it, he's not entirely sure.]

[There are sounds of what would seem to be a struggling attempt going on behind him but he barely acknowledges it with the tilt of his head. When the cephalon states himself being done is when he leaves the door be.]

I'm glad you're here. Despite our circumstances, it's best to not be alone.

[He places a hand on the other man's shoulder, giving it a soft squeeze.]

[cephalon]

Operator.

[The sensation of a hand upon him is strange in its own right; he's more used to the thrum of an engine, the feeling of deploying an archwing, fingers tapping at consoles. This is different, a heavy pressure, warm and very solid, and it's probably going to take getting used to.]

Ordis would not be anywhere else. The Operator needs Ordis.

[tennohno]

[The tenno realizes that touching the cephalon was quite possibly a mistake after everything he's gone through and removes his hand.]

Sorry for that. And yes I do as much as you need me.

[cephalon]

Operator?

[Why is the tenno taking his hand away, it was pleasant.]

[tennohno]

Hm? What?

[cephalon]

The Operator has moved away. Has something Ordis has done offended the Operator?

[tennohno]

[Well that wasn't exactly a question he had thought to be answering. He however moves back to be beside Ordis.]

No, I thought it'd be polite to give you space. You've been through a lot in the little time you've been here. And I should keep my hands to myself as well.

[Means that in the most innocent way possible because this was his partner. His partner that got thrown into a foreign body. Last thing he needed to do was act as if that didn't happen.]

[cephalon]

Operator, Ordis is quite used to you being inside him. Space is not an issue. But if this is what the Operator wishes, Ordis will of course respect that.

[tennohno]

[That might be a valid point but please let no else have heard that.]

No I'm just trying to be respectful. I ugh... [He pulls him into a light one arm hug because he wasn't alone anymore.] it's fine.

[cephalon]

Operator-

[Oh that's certainly new, and it's strange but certainly not unpleasant.]

Ordis does not believe that the Operator could ever be disrespectful towards Ordis.

[tennohno]

[It's a short lived pause and then he's back to figuring things out, sticking close by the cephalon with his arm remaining protectively.]

I'm not perfect but I try. We should probably focus and work on your balance and walking though.

[He tilts his head in thought.]

Glasses though?

[cephalon]

Nonsense. Ordis believes the Operator is quite perfect.

[That's certainly a fact, but there's a heat to his face as a swell of embarrassment bubbles up within his stomach. He certainly didn't ask to be thrust into a form with legs! Balance is difficult.]

The glasses were not Ordis' idea. None of this was Ordis' idea. However, not being able to properly see surroundings is far more of an issue than the glasses themselves.

[tennohno]

Perfection is only an ideal.

[Is the cephalon blushing? He raises a brow further at that before moving in order to be in front of him and offer steadying hands to start working with him. This wasn't the greatest situation but he'll make the best of it.

They've been through far worse before.]

Seeing properly is always recommended but they look good on you. So relax. We've got some work to do.

[cephalon]

Well, then the Operator is ideal.

[Of course he is, he's the Operator and that's that. But that doesn't matter at the moment, because it's much more important that he figure out how to get his feet under him properly so he can stop inconveniencing the tenno so much.]

Ordis thanks the Operator for the compliment and...he will work hard on learning how to pilot this new form so as to make sure to be as efficient as before.

[tennohno]

If you say so. [Better to give the cephalon his victory than to go around in circles.]

You're welcome. Take it nice and slow though because there's no warrant to rush yet, understand? [He makes sure he has a decent hold on the other before slowly trying to coax him along to work on his walking.] Baby steps. You'll be back to full capability soon enough.

[cephalon]

Ordis is-

[This is so strange, it's like having to learn to fly all over again after being scavenged. It's not easy in the slightest though, and he does have to lean heavily on the tenno for support lest he fall once more.]

[tennohno]

You're welcome.

[He doesn't mind being used as a support since it meant that the cephalon could learn his footing better. Taking a small pause, he lowers a hand to touch Ordis' stomach.]

Tighten up in here. It'll help with your balance and do good in the long run, ok?

[cephalon]

[It's one thing to say to tighten up, another to actually expect him to do so. While the touch is strange, prompts an instinctual momentary tightening, he does try to take the advice to heart, he ends up a little stiffer and proper tthn perhaps is needed.)

[tennohno]

Ordis relax. Only your core needs be controlled like that.

[The tenno moves his hand up to gently coax the cephalon's shoulders to relax while not ruin the rest of his effort. He approvingly nods and resumes the slow walking around the room, making certain to have a steadying hold on him.]

Doing good so far.

[cephalon]

This is not as simple as one would think.

[But there are no barbs to his words, and relax he does, even if there's a slight tremor to his step. Much more difficult than flying.]

[tennohno]

Everyone, at least human and so on, have to learn it at some point. You don't have to be perfect today.

[The tremor garners some worry from him but he doesn't voice anything about them. Merely his attention is keeping the other upright and catch him if he ever stumbles.]

[cephalon]

The quicker Ordis learns, though, the quicker he will be able to continue assisting the Operator. ...even if it is somewhat more difficult in this small form.
