Who: Ororo and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide video
Action: On the Marsiva
When: Right now!
--
[ The video feed clicks on as Ororo wakes, with the sound of her cape's wrist bangles clattering against whatever assorted metal fixtures there are on the bed as she gets to her feet. It's quiet aside from the background noise of the Hospitality Deck, with Ororo silently assessing the situation she'd found herself in. Was it a kidnapping? She could see the void of stars and space through the large window - had she been pulled into another intergalactic issue? Ororo frowned, the sparks of lightning crawling along her skin making the video feed flicker with static. ]
[ Assuming that there were other X-Men with her here somewhere (nine times out of ten they were pulled into these things together), she decided to go looking for them and regroup... or at least find someone on the Deck to question. She takes the communicator with her just because it looked useful, but neglects to switch it off or anything - so between brief moments of static from her lightning, it happens to pick up her movement and voice as she mutters to herself: ]
By the Goddess, I do not have time for this. I have a school to run!

[action]
[She steps the rest of the way into sight once it is clear the woman recognizes her.]
Are you alright?
[It seemed like the right question to ask.]
[action]
[But anyway, to business...]
Have you any information on why we're here? Or who else was taken with us?
[action]
There are others here. My...[That faint hesitation that's always there before she mentions Wolverine.] Logan is here. One of the Avengers, the female Hawkeye. Several people who are...familiar, but not.
[How to explain Kitty...]
They said we are on TV.
[action]
[In any event, she's making a mental tally of who their team would be built of. The TV comment would wait.]
They are not here on this ship? [If they were, Ororo assumes Laura would have regrouped with them. Or, she hopes she would have.]
[action]
No. They are on other ships. You can see them out the windows.
[action]
And you mentioned something about TV?
[action]
I people I spoke with said that we are being watched, constantly, for a reality TV show.
[Laura did not like that at all. She glanced around as she spoke, always hunting for the cameras.]
[action]
This is Mojo's work, then, I gather? Or something similar. [She looks around as well, expecting to hear his voice from some disembodied speakers. She could never work it out, but they'd rarely see his cameras when he tried this sort of thing on them.]
[action]
[She wasn't sure what that meant, she had managed to avoid the obligatory X-men Mojoverse trip.]
[action]
Hopefully that means, 'less dangerous.' Which is good, as Mojo's definition of entertainment is... rather troubling. [To say the least.]
Did he say what it was, if not Mojo?
[action]
No. No one I spoke with seems to know how any of this really works. They did not seem entirely certain we were actually being watched.
I have not been able to find any cameras.
[action]
[Then she turns to Laura again.] ... All this information, and you've only been here a day; you're very resourceful, Laura.
[action]
People here talk a lot.
[action]
Were you able to find anyone to speak to here? It's awfully empty.
[action]
There is a child here. He is seven.
[She had mostly kept to herself other than feeding the kid.]
[action]
There are children involved in this?
[action]
[action]
There are not a lot of people other than us here, are there? I hope he isn't too frightened.
[action]
But he is pretending he is not.
[Which doesn't work around someone with her sense of smell.]
[action]
Perhaps we can help with that while we are here.
In the meanwhile, I'm sure if there was a way out you would have found it by now. No such luck, I suppose? [She frowns. If there was no escape for right now, were they supposed to just... sit around and wait?]
[action]
Unless we shatter a window, we cannot leave.
[action]
Assuming we stay put, what can we expect? The others somehow found a way to the ships outside, did they not?
[action]
It is not anything we can control.
[She was not happy with that, evidently.]
[action]
It isn't much, I suppose, but as I find it hard to trust much of anything here at this point, we can at least remain alert. [Which is bad enough for her; she's sure Laura feels it even more... So Storm offers her a small smile.]
And stay together, of course. [- hopefully Laura finds that agreeable.]
[action]
[But she could do that.]
As you wish.
