[Hello Fleet, it's been a while since you all have seen this particular redhead's face on the network. Months, really, since she's made a public broadcast like this. She appears to be in a good mood, offering the fleet a smile, and even if her address is rather formal, her tone is warm and welcoming. Behind her is the greenhouse of the Iskaulit, with lots of tropical-looking plants and even what looks like fruit! Weird fruit! But fruit nonetheless.]

Good afternoon! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Dr. Beverly Crusher of the SS Blue Fish. I, along with Ino Yamanaka on the Three Twins, run the garden here on the Iskaulit. I've spoken with many of you who have expressed an interest in learning how to garden. In light of this, I've decided to offer classes of a sort... nothing too formal, just a weekly meeting where I can teach people the basics of taking care of plants in the environment of a starship. Though of course, if people want something more extensive, I'm more than happy to accommodate for that! But it seems best to start simple, see what people are most interested in. So, if this is something you think you'd like to be a part of or if you have any questions, you can either respond here or I'll be on the Iskaulit the rest of the afternoon should you prefer to talk in person.

But to have so many different types of plants from so many different places... is it not difficult to take care of them all? The conditions for them to grow must be as numerous as they are.

It's true that we've had some plants that haven't made it. The desert ones fare the best, as they don't need as much water as the others. Fortunately, I have a lot of experience growing plants on starships and Furiosa - one of the other women who has been a huge help to us - knows about growing plants in a harsh environment. It's complicated, but not impossible by any means.

[Wanda closes her eyes, takes a deep breath. This truly was an impressive feat. Likely, this will easily become one of her favorite places to seek solace in, whenever she wishes to escape from her own ship.]

It really is lovely here. You all have worked so hard.

Thank you! Would you like a little tour?

[Wanda smiles and nods enthusiastically, gesturing for Dr. Crusher to lead the way.]

[Grinning at Wanda's enthusiasm, Beverly guides her through the gardens, still always a work in progress, which shows. There are large sections of the room filled only with empty racks and stacks of empty pots, water lines that have not yet been hooked up, and sunlamps still in pieces. But the parts of the room that are planted? Look wonderful. They've even managed to divide the place into sections - tropical, temperate, desert. As she had mentioned, the desert section is doing the best, the succulents looking plump and pleased with their situation, some of them even sporting bright yellow and blue flowers, or magenta-colored fruits. The temperate section is mostly herbs for healing, while the tropical section is mostly food. And finally, there's a long, low platform in one corner of the room where they're trying to grow grass - mostly for Cheese's sake, but Beverly explains that she hopes to eventually plant it throughout the room to create more of a park-like atmosphere.]

[Wanda follows Beverly's tour in rapt attention. She is thoroughly enthralled by all the work that went into this room. In each area, she stops to admire some of the flora that catch her eye. A few flowers with more crimson or red-tinged pedals naturally catch her eye the most, and she lingers around them the longest. Once the tour is finished, Wanda smiles broadly at Beverly, not sure what further praise she can really give her and Ino for their hard work.]

It truly is impressive. You two must feel very proud of what you have built here.

Thank you, we are. Though of course there is still lots of work to be done. I would eventually like this to have more of a park-like feel.

[The prospect of that work does not daunt her, however. Having a project like this helps keep her from going crazy.]

Simply coming to the class will help! The more of us that know how to garden, the more plants we can gather and the more planting spaces we can set up.

[Wanda looks confused for a moment, but then realization dawns on her face and she looks a little embarrassed. She had gotten so distracted by all the plant life during their tour, that she had forgotten all about the original video message.]

Oh, yes. Yes, sorry.

When do you plan on starting these lessons?

Maybe in a week or so, once I see how many people are interested.

[Wanda smiles, nods her head.]

Sounds good. You will remember to contact me when you decide to start, yes?

Of course. Is there a day of the week or time that would suit you better?

[Wanda giggles a little at the question.]

It is hard to say. It seems every day brings something new for us, so I never know.

[Still, she considers for a moment.]

Hmmm, I suppose I can try and set aside a day specifically though.

It's fine if you don't know, I just would like to organize a time that works for the most number of people, if I can.

Of course.

[Wanda considers briefly again, before giving her answer.]
