Well, like I said before, lying is a big part of my life. And I hate it. I wouldn't recommend it.

For what it's worth, I think that sounds hard too.

To be fair, I never said I was a convincing liar. But if I can drive a big enough wedge between people thinking about Supergirl and thinking about me, that's a success.

Yeah. You know him? Tell me it wasn't a huge mistake.

And who even knows with Max Lord. He's some awful, scheming millionaire who always manages to stay just this side of trouble.

I met him. He seems fine. Sascha likes him. [Sascha likes everyone who gives him any attention though.]

Almost never a good thing when people scheme.

Especially when he has the money to back up his plans.

Hopefully the powers help tip the scale.

We'll figure something out. Probably. He never does anything overtly illegal, is the problem.

Well, kind of. First off, I don't kill anyone. Secondly, I work with the DEO, which is a governmental organization that keeps extraterrestrials out of regular people's hair.

Vigilantes don't have to kill to be vigilantes. [Assassins do. Should she not bring that part of her past up?]

You trust them? The DEO? [Because that sounds like a dangerous operation to her.]

My sister works there, and they kind of recruited me. I don't think I trust the government overall, but I trust Alex, and I trust Hank.

Yeah, well, as long as you have your eyes open. I probably just default to suspicion.

I'm careful. I just really trust Alex. She's always been there for me.

Well if you can't trust family who can you trust, right?
