[Another month, another mingle. Once again, any visitors on the ship should bear in mind that there are locks installed all over the ship, so someone on board's gotta let you in. Or you can just stand there. And stare. And hope someone takes pity on you.]

[Riona pauses in her strikes when she hears Allen. Grinning in triumph, she holds up her sword.]

I did! So damn expensive, but it was worth it.

I'm surprised you found a smith- [He'll offer his hand] May I see it?

There was only the one, and it was far harder to find than it should have been. [She nods and passes it over to him.] Of course. I'd be interested in your opinion. It isn't the finest sword I've ever had, but it's sturdy enough.

Ha- I guess swords aren't used very much here. [But he'll take the sword, stepping back and testing it a little] Hmm...yeah, it seems like a sturdy blade, at least!

No. I believe they likely use weapons like what we have in our armory. Guns. [She still finds the Blighted things strange.]

Did you wield a sword back home? This does well enough for my satisfaction. Now, if I can get a shield, I'd feel a little better.

[Yeah...he could do with less guns in this place. They were on his world too, but...yeesh]

I did, among other weapons. [He offers the sword back to her] Maybe you can get an engineer to make you a shield out of scrap metal?

Of what sort? [She takes the sword back, twirling it casually in her hand. She missed the feel of a blade in hand, she really did.] Oh! I did not even think that possible. Would an engineer have a furnace necessary to make one?

A Claymore. I actually have one in my room, though its not quite the same as the one I'd prefer to have. [Stupid Atroma confiscating weapons] Um, maybe? Never hurts to ask!

Oh, a claymore? No shield for you, then. Gutsy man. [Riona likes to think herself rather brave, but she cannot imagine go into a proper battle without her shield. Only a sword between you and the enemy is not her idea of a good time.]

I'll definitely ask. Isn't Sokka an engineer?

Ha- yeah. It's an old habit that's hard to break. [You know, from the days where he had to fight with literally one hand]

He is! He'd probably even paint an emblem on it! [No promises it'd be good]

If you have the courage and know-how to do it, than all the more power to you. I like having a nice shield in between me and my enemy, though.

Then I will ask him first before I take to the fleet with my request. [Paint an emblem? That makes her wonder.] Does he paint a lot? Is he the one who put the blue fish emblem on the side of the ship?

The painting is rather nice work, all things considered. [She glances to the side.] The statue... well, he clearly put his heart into it.
