Once there's nothing left to clean, Pearl's going to take apart this engine. Hopefully you weren't about to use the ship and/or shuttle, because it's currently scattered into a million pieces.

Planet, one of the parks:
Looks like Pearl is in a swordfight with a hologram version of herself. The exercise starts off slowly, as they take measured steps around each other and trade blows and parries. As they start speeding up, Pearl starts breaking out of the set pattern. Holo-Pearl matches her blow for blow, until Pearl does a quick spin and skewers her image from behind. The hologram flickers and then disappears, but Pearl doesn't look satisfied. She could use a better opponent.]

I feel like that almost happened to me recently. I thought I was at home, but apparently I was right here.

That sounds... I don't know what that sounds like, I haven't run across anything that sounds like that myself before. Might be another case of those weird dreams we had a couple of months back?

True. I shouldn't rule that out.

Whatever those dreams were, they showed me things at home that had never happened before.

[and she had absolutely forgotten about this space trip. Maybe it's not that far-fetched then, to think that Steven's safe at home (other than the weekly monster attacks).

Also she's still not very good with dreams, oops.]

Kind of hard to rule out anything when we got so many people from different places here. Like before I got here, would never think I would talk with a personification of a precious stone, but things have worked out pretty well with that.

As long as it's not a bad thing I say just run with it, and even if it is bad I'm not sure how much we can do from here.

I don't know if Steven left you or other people letters to do with his items, but do you want me to box up his stuff and bring them over to your ship?

[she mulls it over. It's true. The things she lived through (dreamed through?) wouldn't really have a direct impact here. Well, other than the fact that she's super practiced at making giant drills now.]
