Once there's nothing left to clean, Pearl's going to take apart this engine. Hopefully you weren't about to use the ship and/or shuttle, because it's currently scattered into a million pieces.

Planet, one of the parks:
Looks like Pearl is in a swordfight with a hologram version of herself. The exercise starts off slowly, as they take measured steps around each other and trade blows and parries. As they start speeding up, Pearl starts breaking out of the set pattern. Holo-Pearl matches her blow for blow, until Pearl does a quick spin and skewers her image from behind. The hologram flickers and then disappears, but Pearl doesn't look satisfied. She could use a better opponent.]

Training! I've never seen someone able to make another of themselves to fight against.

It's useful when I want to get a pattern down or if nobody else wants to train.

That's really cool! What kind of training can you teach with it? Just sword-fighting?

[ it's tempting to try and wheedle an offer for training out of pearl. knives may be chara's weapon of choice, but surrounded people people older and stronger than them, they'd take what they can get. speed and ability to dodge helped when fighting monsters, but humans were another story, prone to dirty tricks and desperation.

unfortunately, it'd require actually figuring out if pearl would be a threat to secrecy if anyone from their world who didn't remember their genocide run showed up. ]

It depends on what I know, really. I've taught sword-fighting, but I could also teach somebody how to fight with a spear, technically speaking.

My mom and dad use fire magic, but dad also had a trident he sort of uses like a spear or a sword sometimes. He talked about maybe teaching people one day.
