I might be game if I knew when our funds were going to be unfrozen. Which might be a while, at this rate...

I'm getting a little stir crazy, to tell you the truth. I've already done all the sightseeing and clerical work I wanted. It's a little ridiculous that whoever we're waiting for still isn't here.

It is a bit odd that we haven't heard anything on these ... objects yet. I don't suppose anyone's heard something from the Atroma?

Not to my knowledge. They haven't really addressed us since that mess with our augments, I think, come to think of it.

... SO do we think they are not in control again, or are they all simply spying on us from the keyholes?

Spying on us. They gave us these useless gumballs, then sat back to watch what happened.

Which honestly, was very little. [Tyrion stated wryly.] Honestly, all these tests with no real point.

Mmhmm. I'm finding myself hard-pressed to believe that anyone could derive enough entertainment for us to make the show profitable enough to keep going.

So what are they up to? What is the point of all this?

I'm fresh out of ideas. Maybe they're just that bored.

[tallasaking]

No one can be that bored.

[forsometimenow]

Maybe they want us to do something for them at the end of it. First, it's cargo transport... next, maybe we'll have to fight someone off. So they got as big a variety of people as they could.

[tallasaking]

Like ... what, space pirates? That just sounds absurd.

[He sighed. Of course he is on a giant entertainment vehicle so ridiculous might be subjective at this point.]]

Space pirates were my first thought, actually. It would make for some exciting action sequences!

Hmmm, and some interesting explosions, although those would all be inside of our ships and not outside.

Mmmm, that's the downside- the potential for destruction to us. Atroma doesn't seem to like putting us in serious peril, though, or at least they haven't since I've gotten here.

[tallasaking]

So whatever is happening now -- it is not a result of us being in peril, but us simply running against, what, low ratings?

[forsometimenow]

Maybe- like, they want to create an air of mystery and intrigue around the gumballs.

I am not entirely sure they understand the meaning of 'mystery' then.

Not really, no. They seem to have a lot of warped perceptions.

[tallasaking]

I suppose we should be glad they have not worked some sort of magic to make us all their slaves.

[forsometimenow]

Considering all the measures they DO have in place, we have a relative amount of freedom, yes. It helps me get through whatever they put us through.

So this isn't a prison ship - or at least not like any prison I have personally inhabited.
