[Bigby found out about the Iskaulit. Namely, that it is large and has big, open spaces.

Big enough for him. And so his clothes are hidden away safely and there's a giant wolf on the loose, exploring everything.

And not frolicking. He's hundreds upon hundreds of years old. He's definitely not frolicking or anything like it.]

[ Oh Bigby... That is only going to encourage him fiddling and prodding around down there as he is, carefully of corse but also oddly pleased with te cute twitches that push air from his lungs and still have him chuckling. He's still mindful with the lack of a response, but with no outward refusal there's also nothing to stop him wiggling his fingers deeper into the soft fur like the legs of a spider.

Mostly because it makes it easier to get past all that thick fur, not necessarily to tickle the other. ]

[ And under, there's thinner, softer fur and then warm, warm skin. Very soft skin.

And Bigby finally snaps, giving a somewhat pathetic whine and flopping himself back over onto the other side,curling his paw in against his chest and biting at it, teeth working between toes to scratch the tickle. ]

[ It startles Sascha and causes him to jump a little at the sudden motion, but he can breathe better now with the weight off his chest. He sits up with a few questioning blinks as he watches the other's great back jut long enough to decide he's curious enough to crawl his way up and watch him gnaw like that. ]

[ Sascha gets the annoyed growl for that comment while Bigby worries at his paw. Finally, he scratches at it with a talon on the other front paw. ]

[ Annoyed or my he's still going to wid up with a big dumb grin on his face as he flops across him, arms in front. ]

[ And there's a grunt in reply, which really, could mean anything. ]

If you're going to play with my toes, stick to the end of the toe.

Hehe, yessir~~ [ It's not telling him to back off, and that is the most important part since it means Sascha doesn't have to go anywhere or refrain from touching those oversized paws. ]

They're super-soft under all the rougher fur. And warm~

[ When Bigby's had enough, he'll tell Sascha to stop. Or just shake him off and wander off somewhere else. ]

Course they are. Insulating fur.

I thought all the fur kept you warm... [ He's got enough of it. ]

[ Biology lesson time. ]

Right. Come here. Feel that long, coarser fur along my spine and ruff? That's guard hairs. It grows longer and covers the other fur under it. It's tough against weather and shit. Also, it's the stuff that moves when my hackles go up. It's also got the colour in it, makes me brown with dark marks.

Under that is the insulation fur, the down. That's the really soft stuff.

[ He lifts a front paw to show up his chest and under his front leg, where there's heat and soft and contented animal scent. ]

There's also these inbetween hairs, which are like a guard hair up the top, but down at the bottom.

[ This is more schooling than he's had in his entire, present-incarnation's life; Sascha soaks it up like a sponge, watching with interest as Bigby describes and shows off each bit. Like before he remains focused, all-too-eager to be allowed to run his hands over the different types of fur and feel the difference between them. ]

They're a lot warmer than the stuff on top.

They're meant to be. They trap lots of air against my skin, keeps it warm. Keeps me warm. Most animals have at least two layers of fur. Down and guard. A lot have heaps of the middle stuff, like I do. Cats, wolves, foxes, all your regular mammals.

[pneumo]

I never knew that...I thought all the fur was just the same, and the reason the outside stuff was so tough was 'cause it was old hehe~

No. Some hair is tough to protect the other fur and the person. Animal. Whatever.

If you part the fur on my spine, you'll see there's down. Not thick like underneath, but still there.

[pneumo]

--Can I??? [ Because now he really wants to try and see. ]

[ Bigby rolls onto his belly to lie sphinx like, letting Sascha have clear access to his spine. ]

[ And as he does Sascha clambers up onto his back, humming contently until he can appropriate straddle him and sit up, beginning to work his hands between the thick layer of protective coat on downwards in order to find the softer pelt beneath. The moment he does it's easy to tell, eyes brightening some. ]

[ Bigby flops his chin down onto his paws and lets Sascha explore. ]

Of course I'm right. I do know something about how I work.

Well yeah... But that's neat to me, 'cause I have no idea how I work! [ Everything he's learned has been from other vampires, and even then it's apparently not quite in line with how he is personally. The general though is that he's just...well, weird. And that's how he's accepted it to be. ]

Mundys study lots. Including wolves. I guess because wolves kept attacking and eating them. But you have to expect that if you move into the wolf's territory.

Including why our fur is so warm. Apparently there's an elk or something with has hollow hairs. Warmest fur in the world, because there's so much warm air trapped against them.

Mmm....that sounds super comfy. It'd be nice to sleep on something like that♥ [ Scritch, scratch. He's going to give Bigby just a tiny bit of attention on the tail end of that statement. ]

It is. Warm when you can't have your own coat to keep you warm. Higher, near the scruff.

[ Because he's still bossy about how he gets scratched. ]

[ Bossy, but still accommodating when it comes to his little barnacle of a vampire. ]

They also taste good. Even cooked they taste okay. Have a nice layer of fat, not thick blubber like seals.
