[Bigby found out about the Iskaulit. Namely, that it is large and has big, open spaces.

Big enough for him. And so his clothes are hidden away safely and there's a giant wolf on the loose, exploring everything.

And not frolicking. He's hundreds upon hundreds of years old. He's definitely not frolicking or anything like it.]

[Jon is on the Iskaulit mostly because he's kind of sick of just hanging around the Three Twins, and he's looking to explore what he can as well. So far, he hasn't really seen much of the Iskaulit, but that's just because he's been on the ship for ten minutes and hasn't gotten started yet.

...is that a giant wolf?

Well, you're an unexpected sight. [Usually, when most people see giant wolves, their instinct is to run the fuck away in the other direction. Not Jon Snow, who still really misses his own direwolf, and who thus steps forward in the wolf's direction, to kneel down and meet its gaze.] Are you lost?

[Oh no, Jon. You don't kneel down to this wolf.

It hears him and stops, looking sharply over as if embarrassed at being caught.

It starts coming closer and it's very apparent that giant means giant.]

Do I look fucking lost?

[Oh, yeah. It also talks.]

[It. Can talk.

It's huge, sure, but Jon's seen enough shit that he barely flinches at the size. No, what he can't get past is the fact that it can talk.]

You can talk. [Way to state the obvious. He lets out a breath, runs his hand through his hair.] I thought you were lost, but it seems I thought wrong. [The huge wolf can talk. That's it. Jon's seen everything now.]

[The wolf also raises an eyebrow at him, which just looks a bit odd, glowing eyes fixed on him.]

I can talk. I can also speak several languages and read and write fluently.

And eat you whole.

[This is more casual observation than threat.]

[Yeah, this is definitely the most surreal conversation Jon's ever had, and he's talked with his dead brother here, so. He just eyes Bigby's snout with his usual wariness, and tucks his hands into his pockets.]

I don't doubt that. [What big teeth you have.] Thank you for the warning. I'll be sure to avoid you when you're hungry. [He's remarkably dry for someone who's just had their worldview flipped upside-down on them. Again.]

[That looks like frolicking to Kurt.

Actually, what it looks like is a fucking wolf, big enough to swallow him in one gulp, loose on the Iskaulit (he might be slightly exaggerating.) And him without swords, or guns, or even properly clawed nails to defend himself with, not that the latter would be much good. At least his ability to cling to the ceiling remains unimpeded.

He's not coming down, but he will skitter along the ceiling to follow the giant fucking predator in case he decides people look more appealing than exploring. If all else fails, Kurt assumes he can just teleport the wolf's head off.]

[The wolf stops as soon the smell of brimstone reaches him.

He pauses, massive head swinging back and forth, eyes half closed and nose twitching. Once he's located the source of the scent (young adult, male, non-human), he starts trotting off, curious to see what he does.

And what he does is follow him. So eventually, he stops and without looking back...]

You following me for a reason?

[Kurt had frozen once when Bigby was scenting for him, holding what breath was in his lungs until the wolf had started moving again. He freezes again when the wolf addresses him, pulling back into a crouch that deepens what shadow there is to hide in. Internally he curses not putting in the red lenses that cut the minute glow of his eyes, but he wasn't expecting a (apparently talking) massive wolf.]

Could be that I am. A great wolf is someone to be curious about, wouldn't you say?

[Big's not even looking. He's tracking him by scent.]

Maybe. Most things back in my world see something like me and they don't follow it.

[Vash wasn't completely sure what he came onto this ship for.

Okay, that's a lie. He was here to get a drink. A wolf is a bit, well, surprising. More so that it was frolicking prancing.]

[He is neither frolicking, nor prancing. He is... exercising.

[He can only think of one person-er, wolf that would say something like that to him.] Bigby!?

Most back home just use 'Big' when I'm like this. Bigby's the name I took when I took on pretending to be human.

[Gosh, there does seem to be a giant wolf totally not frolicking on the Iskaulit. Nami would probably still jump if Bigby surprised her with a transformation, but when she sees that bulk out there in the wider spaces she just grins. It's quiet in the bar at this time, so she wipes her hands and comes to stand in the doorway.]

I wondered that you hadn't tried this before. [She's not leaving the bar, though she does pitch her voice to carry. Honestly, Nami wonders just how good his hearing really is.]

[He stops his pouncing on dust motes to look at her.

He can clearly hear her just fine.]

Hadn't realised how much space there is. I can't do this at home. Not allowed.

Too many people who'd freak out, huh? I look forward to you terrifying the locals here. [Because she's a troll like that.] Did you bring a change of clothes with you?

We have rules. Never let the mundanes know what you are. And I can't afford the magic it would take to hide this much bulk.

And I don't fit. My apartment isn't much bigger than a couple of bunkrooms.

[She's out tending to the gardens, which at times is less tending because there's plenty of people doing it and more just enjoying it in a quiet, introspective way. She gets the sense she's not alone, though, and starts to investigate. Did she imagine those footsteps? Or was there someone else here with her?]

[Eventually, she finds him, and can only stare; she's never seen anything of the like, here or at home.]

[Normally, he's silent moving about but it's hard to be excited and jumping and thumping and running like a pup.

He stops as he becomes aware of her, circling and then sitting down, his ears pricked and those baleful yellow eyes peering out from the shadows of his face.]

What?

[Furiosa isn't sure what unsettles her more, the fact that it knows she's there, or that it talks. She answers his question with a long stretch of silence before speaking her mind with a sore of mindful awe. It had, to her, the same intensity as a spike-fitted war rig.]

I have never seen, in all my life, a creature quite like you.

And you never will again.

[He's unique. He's worked hard at it.]

[ Definitely not. How could anyone assume such a thing, that's definitely not what Sascha is thinking at all upon spotting him bounding around, awe instantly gracing his features...

Right before he hurries to run after him, wide-eyed and charmed. Must run with the adorable woof. ]

[Adorable wolf turns around and for a moment, it seems like he's moving into another position. Front paws outstretched, ears back, but not flat to the skull, tail pricked up...

Then he shakes instead, from nose to tail, puffing loose fur everywhere and leaving him looking bigger than ever.]

Sascha.

[ It's gorgeous. And fluffy, and cute and everything Sascha wants to touch ever. His eyes practically sparkle as he gapes up at him, face flushed happily. ]

Hi Bigby!! [ He wants to pet it so bad... ]

[He has that glow that a happy canine gets, bright eyed and alive and enjoying being himself properly.

His tail doesn't wag (he's not a fucking dog, he's a wolf) but it is perked up and swaying slightly.]
