Big enough for him. And so his clothes are hidden away safely and there's a giant wolf on the loose, exploring everything.

And not frolicking. He's hundreds upon hundreds of years old. He's definitely not frolicking or anything like it.]

So it's even more cute then...! [ This is the flawless conclusion Sascha is going to drawn from this experience, burying the side of his face into the wolf's massive leg as he nuzzles at it. ]

[Bigby gives the 'I'm not happy with that, but I don't care enough to push it' growl and lets Sascha cling to his leg.

He does start walking, but Sascha can cling.]

[ Yesss, victory. Sascha winds up grinning like and idiot and gives up after just two steps to hurry onto his own two feet again, but he hovers close and looks immensely pleased with his follower-like situation. ]

Oh, oh! I did a job on the space thing before we left--and I didn't eat anything!

[If he had sat on Bigby's paw, he probably wouldn't have been shaken off. As it is, Bigby sets up a slow lope.]

Good. What job'd you do?

[pneumo]

I moved speakers with this really nice kid... He knows other people like me! And he said he'd tell them about me so we can meet and stuff. [ It's the latter he's obviously most pleased with, although the former has a hefty note of pleasure to it as well. Kirito had been incredibly patient for someone who'd been stalked for nearly ten minutes before he finally caught Sascha. ]

Other vampires, huh? In the Fleet?

[Sounds promising. And suspicious at once.]

Sounds nice. You know who he is, so you can talk to him over the communicator?

[pneumo]

The vampire? Or the nice kid? [ Because he doesn't actually know the other person "like him". Kirito just promised to pass along his name to them is all. ]

[bb_wolf]

The nice kid.

[Not that he's vetting him. No. Not Bigby.]

[pneumo]

[ But of course not~ How could anyone ever think that? ]

Kirito! He's adorable♥

Kirito. Adorable, huh? You sound pretty taken with him.

Really? Ehe, I guess so~ [ Sascha holds his hands to his face goofily. ]

He's so small and squishy, hugging him is wonderful♥ [ That, and Sascha has always had a big soft spot for younger people. He can't have kids of his own in any manner, through conventional methods or vampiric. So seeing them is kind of special for him. ]

[Bigby just observes. He's starting to suspect Kirito actually is a child. He knows there are some on the fleet.]

Hey. You ever been allowed to pet a cat before?

A cat?? No...not a chance, haha! They hate me even more than dogs do!

[bb_wolf]

[He'd have a word with Katie. It would make Sascha's day.]

Fair enough. Puss tried to come and live in the city once, but he hated having to pretend he was a mundane cat.

[pneumo]

[ It would make all his days, and then some. ]

Puss in Boots.

[He's used to everyone just... knowing these stories.]

I couldn't read...or write, before. And vampires don't really talk about this sort of thing.

[ So the conventional education, whether he'd had one before as a 'human' or not, is not something he's experienced in his time. ]

[Bigby nods and then leans over and noses Sascha.]

Sit. I'm going to tell you the story of Puss in Boots.

[He settles himself down.]

[ Nosing...♥ Sascha would do anything Bigby told him to after that. In fact he even chuckles a little when it happens, nodding eagerly and seating himself without hesitation. ]

Okay~!

[Bigby settles and starts to talk.

All Fables are storytellers. It's part of them. Bigby is as much a storyteller as the rest of them, telling the fairytale version of Puss in Boots in his own, Bigby way.]

[pneumo]

[ Sascha listens with rapt attention, probably the best he's ever done all things considered. But really, it's not hard when his narrator is a giant wolf with a very Bigby way of talking and telling. He doesn't have any overblown reactions like normal, whih is an attestment to how keenly he's listening; he saves all that for the end. ]

Wow...hahaha!! That's an awesome cat~! No wonder he didn't wanna pretend to be a normal one after all that.

[Bigby has an admiration of wits and thus, he admires the sheer balls and cleverness of that cat. He gets why Puss hates the farm.]

No. He's not normal. He's an exceptional fucking animal, but without a glamour, he can't be in town as himself and he can't afford a glamour that would cover the mass difference. He's not a big cat.

[pneumo]

Ooh...is that like when you're in beard mode? Glamour is when you change? [ Because Bigby has used that word several times now, and Sascha's not 100% clear on it's meaning. ]

Human! Not beard mode!

A glamour is a magic spell that makes you seem to be someone else, or something else, but only while the magic is active. It fools the senses, rather than actually changing things.
