I didn' know we hired a ceilin' cleanin' service, [Yeah, he spotted you Kurt, having been in the kitchen to grab a snack before heading back to his room.] 'nd ya clearly didn't get my request for ya to be wearin' one of those little French maid costumes, with the frills 'nd the garter belt. [Yes, he's so funny.

[Kurt doesn't even have the decency to show any shame at having been caught. Looking over his shoulder, his yellow eyes glow very faintly in the shadows of his face.] Flattered as I am that you put so much thought into my attire, you really didn't think the through practicality of a garter belt. Do you really think fur mixes well with nylons?

[Not that he knows this for a fact, but it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.]

I sadly have to admit I haven't had a chance to find that out first hand with a lovely partner, but 'll keep it in mind if the opportunity ever comes up.

[Joking aside and to sate his own curiosity of what was going on, Remy asked;] What ya doin' here? [Climbing the walls, uninvited (as far as he knew), sneaking around. Really Kurt, that was his job, don't try and steal it from him.]

[Turning to face the man properly, Kurt leans back against the ceiling.] I meant to go visit Rogue and must have gotten the wrong ship. Unless she failed to mention being on the same one as you? [It's a line of bull and he's not even really trying to hide the smirk on his face. He'll give Remy the truth sooner or later, but the man's really too much like his counterpart not to mess with first.]

[Though Remy did raise a dubious brow at Kurt as he came up with that excuse, but decided to play along and push it a little, pointing his thumb over his shoulder to his room.] Oh yeah, she be, hold on, just tell her to put her clothin' back on 'nd get decent. [It was said before he took a bite of the snack he had grabbed from the kitchen, moving to lean a shoulder back against the wall since they seemed to be staying here for this conversation rather than moving to a place to sit down.]

[Sit? Who needs to sit, Kurt has a nice, comfy slice of wall right here.] Lay of the land, literally. I don't know this place, or how reliable the transport between ships are. If I should need to teleport onto one of the ships in a hurry, it wouldn't do anyone good for me to wind up inside something solid.

[Remy took a moment to consider that before nodding his head in agreement. Made sense.] Though does raise the scary thought of ya teleportin' 'nto someone. [He hadn't even thought about that before, which was all that more worrying with how much the younger Kurt liked to get around by teleporting.]

[It took a moment for Remy to put that name to a face as he hadn't had a huge amount to do with the Brotherhood, though more than the other Acolytes did. But it was mainly limited to kicking their butts. He gave a nod of his head as Kurt talked, taking in the information and processing it.]

If it comes down to an emergency 'nd ya gotta, use my room. 'll make sure to keep a corner free for ya to 'port 'nto so ya don't have to worry 'bout items or people bein' in the way.

[He assumes the room Remy had gestured to earlier was actually his; he hadn't noticed the other man sneaking a glance to check the door position. Usually that means familiarity that's usually confined to residences and places of employment.

And it does occur to Kurt to wonder why Remy's being so helpful, though it doesn't surprise him. Even after leaving the X-Men, the Gambit of his world had always been ready and willing to lend his aid. As far as his research had led him in the strange mirror universe he'd spent time in, it was a universal trait.]

'nd here I thought it would be hard to get ya 'nto m' room. [Joking aside, Remy moved far enough down the hall to open the door to his room, moving in to put his plate down once he was inside.]

That might be the best place to use. [Pointing out a spot in the back corner of the room.] Can clear it out so I don't keep stuff there, 'nd that way makes sure no one be walkin' in when ya tryin' to port.

[Kurt snorts rudely, moving to follow Remy down the hall. And by follow, he sticks to the ceiling on all fours because that's mannerly, right?] In your wildest dreams, LeBeau. I've not yet exhausted the joys of the finer sex. [Coming from the man with a silvery band on the last finger of his left hand.

Kurt pokes his head around the doorframe to look inside, keeping the majority of his body in the hallway. He doesn't know this Remy well enough just to assume he'd be welcome to come inside.] Alright. I'll aim halfway up the wall to be safe, just in case the ship's experiencing turbulence. I'd hate to lose a foot to something so ignoble as one of your shirts on the floor.

Better than losin' it to a pair of underwear. [It was said with a smirk on his face.]

Sure Rogue will do the same for ya gettin' on board the Vanquish if ya need to get there quick like. [Remy assuming that would be the first ship Kurt would get himself to to make sure she was safe.]

Like I'd find any of that in your room. [His own smirk is subdued, but the end of his tail's twitching like it wants to emphasize the point with a gesture or five.]

I was planning on asking each of the X-Men, at least the ones more breakable than Logan. That one can handle himself long enough for the shuttles to come back up.

I haven't seen this Logan in action, kinda wanna, provided it ain't against me. 'ssumin' if he half as decent as the one I know 'bout, he should be fine, even if just healin' his way through it all. Though suppose can also 'nlist the more teen angst version of yaself.

These were not the X-Men he knew from home, this was a entirely different set of people.]
