Lots of stories, yeah. Lots of them have been lost, but there's always new stories to tell.

[Everybody? Finn shakes his head.] Lots of people never leave one planet, or they never leave their own city. But there's just as many that only feel at home when they're traveling, or do it for business or politics.

I guess not. There's a lot of people that don't believe in the Force, but that doesn't make it not real.

Perhaps that is the sweetest thing about stories, that they never seem to end, especially to those who favor them.

Long as it's a good story, anyway.

The Force? It's made by every living thing, and it flows through everything and binds the galaxy together. It can influence our actions, but some people can see it and use it to help them. There's some people here, Jedi Knights, that can do that. General Kenobi's training me to learn how to use a Jedi weapon.

Yes, indeed. A boring one does seem endless, does it not?

Yeah. And you can only watch reruns so many times. [Seriously, when your only approved viewing material is produced by the military, the volume isn't exactly impressive. His whole squadron could recite Clone Brothers and The Emperor's Promise line for line.]

Well, they can feel it. I'm not really sure how, but they train for a really long time and even a Jedi Master still has more to learn. In the Old Republic, they were peacekeepers and mediators, and they tried not to fight. In my time there's a lot of war, though.

It must be quite a sight. I imagine those who cannot feel it do not always understand it. People do tend to think less of what they cannot understand.

it is the same for my realm; it seems as if war is the share of everyone, no matter how wonderful their realm might be.

Yeah, or they make excuses for it so they don't have to try to understand. But they're not seeing the whole picture that way.

Maz--this lady I met back home--she said that it's always the same fight. The Light against the Dark. I used to think I could get away from it, but now I know that if we don't do anything, the Dark Side will win.

It is harder to tell between them in my realm, darkness and light. Sometimes one will look like the other.

However, if we have brave men like you, I am certain it shall be alright and the good shall win. It is the same for your realm.

We do have some good people. I bet you do, too. Even if they don't know it themselves yet.

If they do, then it must see what I am seeing. Such times are not easy, it is sweet to see that there are good people in every realm.

would that we shall only have those here, it could be dire to have anyone with ill-intentions on such small ships.

Yeah, it would be. But if we stay vigilant, we can take care of any problems when they come up, right?
