[At least one of them has an actual weapon on them. Jon--doesn't. He's picked up a stick somewhere along the way to make himself feel better about wandering off weaponless into the wilderness (though he does have enough food and water for a few days' trip, just in case), but it's not really working.

He spies Riona, though, and trudges over very quickly.]

Lady Cousland. [He gives a respectful nod, hoisting his bag up a little higher onto his shoulder.] Will you want company? [Well, at least he doesn't beat around the bush.]

[Riona slows when she hears footsteps fast approaching. She turns, and a smile greets Jon as he addresses her.

But goodness, Starks/Snows and their formalities.] Please, Riona is fine. But hello, Jon. I would love company. Exploring and getting the lay of the land is far more fulfilling when you're with others.

[Her lips twitch in a contained laugh.]

Riona, then. [To his credit, he can adjust pretty well to the lack of formalities.]

I've had more than enough experience with getting lost by myself here. [It's rather dry, but Riona's good people, so she gets to see him smiling back, even slightly.] It'd be a change of pace to get lost with somebody else.

[He shakes his head.] I meant on this moon--you'd be surprised at what you can get into while looking for a bakery. This is the first I've ventured into the wilds as well.

A little bit. To be honest, I haven't explored it as much as I should. It's a bit hard to want to while wearing these masks.

Lemoncakes. They're common where I'm from, and I was hoping to make a gift of them, but--[a wry smile, not that she can see it behind his mask]--it's a bit hard to make a gift of something you can't find.

[A huff.] Aye, they're more cumbersome than I'd like, but I'll take it over getting sick after a few minutes on this moon. [Seriously, when can they get off this incredibly polluted world already?] What did you find?

Very true. And at least they're not needed in doors. I have found little in the way of anything interesting here, but I hope to fix that today. There's always something in the wilds to pique one's curiosity.
