Since we got here! We were on the big ship everyone wakes up on together.

[ It's probably something very akin to a crush, but in a more platonic sort of way in that he adores he like he would someone he like-likes, but lacks the emotional maturity to act on or understand it. ]

Your Kitty? [ Le gaspe. The first thing Sascha thinks of when Kurt mentions that is their being....involved. Like boyfriend and girlfriend. Holding hands and going on dates and her giving him the oh-so-coveted hug. ]

[Kurt has to swallow a smirk; the boy is rather easy to read. The temptation to mess with his head is too much a siren call for him to resist.]

Mhm. Wonderful woman, isn't she? Gott, I remember when we both were young and gangly, I knew even then she would be a beauty. Smart as well, but she was even then. Don't know how being around me doesn't bore her to tears. [All of which is technically true, but not in this context. Kurt and Kitty have never been any more than team-mates and good friends--until she died, at least. It's the shadow of that death that turns his tone a little more serious when he adds:] I was very grateful to see her here. The place feels a little more like the good parts of home for her presence.

[ He is awful because of course, he plasy Sascha like a fiddle with the information he provides. It sounds just like he knows her on some intimate hugging-level and that of course has him more envious than he thought he'd feel. He's not necessarily jealous, but his stomach gets a bit of a grumpy lump in it because Kitty is his first friend and dangit, what if she'd rather give this guy attention than him??? What if she never holds his hand again and holds Kurt's instead?? ]

Since she was younger than you. Since both of us were younger than you, possibly. [Kurt's eyes narrow as though he's eyeing the boy for tells of age--which is exactly what he's doing.

His tail swishes in the air near his shoulder, the spaded end making a gesture like a hand would to draw attention to his next words.] She's a good friend to have, you know. Loyal to the end, but willing to call a man on his bullshit. Still so kind after all our world threw at her. A person would be very lucky indeed to have her friendship.

[ If he can somehow parse his desire piece of knowledge Sascha would be ever-so-grateful to know as well, since he truly has no idea what age he's supposed to be. His memories only go back to waking up as he is now--what he assumes is a vampire. Before that, there's nothing.

But he does appear to at least be in his mid-twenties. ]

The comment about her being Sascha's first friend does draw his mischievous impulses short. He can remember too clearly being a young and terrified boy in the rafters and the ice cold boy who'd reached out to him.]
