Well, I've been told I need some chill -

[ he shrugs. and some confidence, and some curiosity satisfied. the truth is, there's probably a lot to be gained from the experience. ] What about you?

It's hard to guess, you know? I'm sure I'll get a lot out of it. I like almost everyone I've met so far.

Yeah -- you were right. [ he nods ] Most people are great.

[ he smiles without even noticing it. it's been such a refreshing experience, to talk to this many new people in this short a time span and hit it off with as many as he had. and with kitty and kate - as well as he had. those sort of friendships don't come around every day, especially not for him. ]

Well, I haven't really talked to most people on the fleet - [ he's talked to a lot of people compared to himself, not a lot of people period. ]

But yeah, I mean - Kitty's awesome, she's helping me with project Plato [ oh did he not tell you he found a codename? it's not surprising though, is it. ] and Kate has some amazing stories and -- huh. Guess I have a friend type, girls whose name starts with 'K'.

2. I made the same observation. I guess there's something about girls with awesome K names. I really like Kitty and Kate though! I'm glad you're getting along.

1. Yeah, you know - Plato compared the sun to goodness, it feels like a good fit.

[ he smiles at her. he can't imagine a better symbol for goodness than kara, with or without her superpowers. ]

Yeah, she's one of my people. [ it's been so long since he's had a friend who spoke his tech language ] She hasn't put anything together -- of the particular kind we need, but with her help it should be a lot easier to improvise one.

Sounds like you'll make a great team. She seems like she'll be pretty easy to work with.

Yeah, it's gonna be fun.

[ the moon lifted his spirits, but having a project - a way to help kara - to work on, and a good partner to do that with did most of the heavy lifting, really. ]

You're my best friend, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. [ he smiles with a shrug. hey, even when there was something he didn't want to do, it didn't take that much convincing to get him to do it, he's definitely not going to sit on his ass when it's something that he'd actually love to do! ]
